I think we should have an expansion pack called “parallel universe” where sims 4 finishes all the timelines it ditched at sims 3 like explaining what happened to Bella goth etc. I dunno like maybe it could be kinda like realm of magic where you have to find a portal to unlock a new world and then go and you could have a new aspiration that would be “solve the timelines” and you have to figure them out like as I said before the Bella goth thing. That would be epic. Who agrees with me?

So from this we could conclude she had TWO husbands, and the second killed the first in his trademark fashion? A love triangle is at the heart of The Phantom of the Opera too, and the love rivals name is Raoul, so Robert could be the anglicised version of that! With the connection to the Goth family, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a nod to a famous horror novel :) Oh, and Christine (the girl Erik and Raoul are fighting over) is also an orphan mourning the recent death of her father, like Agnes.
FUN FACT: In the Sims 1 If you had all the expansions you can place a massage table in the town where Agnes usualy spawns and she will randomly go for a massage. Although, Sims usually get naked for that, Agnes lays down with all her clothes on! Also: Sims 1 Highlights from Plumbella? HECK YES.

I was 10 when it came out and it took me a very long time to not have all my babies taken away by child services. We got it right when it came out, an illegal copy my dad got from a friend at work

My daughter doesn't understand why I constantly pause the game and it's because I was conditioned to. You couldn't leave it running EVER and you had to micromanage everything because my lord they'd kill themselves or lose the baby to child services if you weren't on top of every single second.

9se9 Simmer Agreed! There are some things I love about TS4, like building tools and sound effects to an extent, but it feels so much more watered-down than earlier versions of The Sims! In some ways it feels like your child's first Sims/Baby's First Sims rather than a Sims that grows and matures as the community does. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the game, and maybe that assessment is a little harsh, but it doesn't fill me with the same sort of excitement as when new packs were released in TS3, or when I tried getting every pack I could of TS2 near the end of its run when I first started playing these games. TS4 just doesn't have the same charm as earlier sims games. The emotions can be fun in the short term, but leave less up to player interrpretation which is half the fun of the gameplay! I will admit to playing TS4 most, primarily because it works better on my PC than TS3 and doesn't have the same screen resolution issues as TS2 does on my modern widescreen all-in-one. However, that doesn't mean it's the game I like the most.

When I played the sims 3 I felt so bad for her I worked really hard improving her skills so she could make the ambrosia dish and bring her husband back from the dead 😭
I played as Agnes once (way back when) because I felt bad after reading the little bio of the household. I wanted to give her a good life: finish the nursery and help her find love again. So, I gave her a little makeover, got rid of the black clothing but still remained true to her style. I found her a nice guy (I can't remember who it was), made them go on dates and he moved in and proposed on the beach. They got married and Agnes instantly got pregnant. Just a few days before she gave birth, her newest husband died. I was like, "okay, freak accident. Electrocution happens all the time." She has the baby without her new hubby, raises him and eventually finds love again (I don't remember who, yet again) and I go through the dating, engagement, baby phase. A few days after getting married, he ages up into an elder and literally dies after getting out of the shower. He had the shortest elder lifespan of any sim I've ever played (overall lifespan was on default, if I remember correctly). Agnes was alone again, but she had two sons, so she wasn't lonely. In conclusion, Agnes Crumplebottom's love life is literally cursed, but at least she finished the nursery! Lol
sunset valley is literally set in the 50s/60s, so it makes sense! it's just the later expansions that are set at different points in the main timeline (and then ts4, but we don't talk abt that mess)

Agnes in Sims 3 was married to Eric Darling. Agnes in Sims 2 was married to Robert Crumplebottom. They were not the same Agnes. You got it all wrong. Outside of the Fact both their spouses died tragedy on there wedding day. Robert Crumplebottom got a chandelier dropped on his head at his reception. Eric Darling drowned in the pool where their reception was being held but before him and Agnes even said I do.
Great video! In my Sims 3 baby daddy challenge, after the guy had 15 kids, he accidentally fell in love with Agnes. I've never seen that Sim so happy as she was with his kids and her 2 kids.
I never went in to Sims 3 Agnes' home, the nursery really got to me (as someone that can't have kids i can relate to it. But no wonder she was so bitter. I would love you to do the life she deserves, and also love to see you play Sims one too :D
Honestly, while playing Sims 3, my best friend and I (we usually played together because she had a lot of expansions and I only had seasons) always wanted Agnes' house so we moved her into a different lot and renovated the place for our Sims...
I remember one time I made an elder and she fell in love with him(sims 2) and she would always come over and flirt with him. Every other time she would just hit my sims for no reason. I honestly wonder how and why this elder sim I made was so different for her?
I used to constantly check when my sims were on a date that Mrs Crumplebottom wasn't on the lot. I could guarantee that the moment I stopped checking to focus on my sim, Mrs Crumplebottom and her handbag of rage would appear and the attack would start.

He had the shortest elder lifespan of any sim I've ever played (overall lifespan was on default, if I remember correctly). Agnes was alone again, but she had two sons, so she wasn't lonely. In conclusion, Agnes Crumplebottom's love life is literally cursed, but at least she finished the nursery! Lol

sunset valley is literally set in the 50s/60s, so it makes sense! it's just the later expansions that are set at different points in the main timeline (and then ts4, but we don't talk abt that mess)

Wow learning the backstory of these sims are so interesting. I remember when Sims 3 first came out and my mom bought it for me and the first Sim I played was Agnes, I was eleven so I wasn’t even fully aware of her story. Good thing is I remember I had her marry the maintenance man and they had twins! 🥰

Agnes in Sims 3 was married to Eric Darling. Agnes in Sims 2 was married to Robert Crumplebottom. They were not the same Agnes. You got it all wrong. Outside of the Fact both their spouses died tragedy on there wedding day. Robert Crumplebottom got a chandelier dropped on his head at his reception. Eric Darling drowned in the pool where their reception was being held but before him and Agnes even said I do.

Great video! In my Sims 3 baby daddy challenge, after the guy had 15 kids, he accidentally fell in love with Agnes. I've never seen that Sim so happy as she was with his kids and her 2 kids.
I want to imagine she did have 2 husbands. The first was the one in the Sims 3. The Second was killed inbetween games by the 1st.
The most consistent thing between all the games, INCLUDING SIMS 4, is Agnes. And that's another reason to stan the poor romance hating old widow

I never went in to Sims 3 Agnes' home, the nursery really got to me (as someone that can't have kids i can relate to it. But no wonder she was so bitter. I would love you to do the life she deserves, and also love to see you play Sims one too :D

Honestly, while playing Sims 3, my best friend and I (we usually played together because she had a lot of expansions and I only had seasons) always wanted Agnes' house so we moved her into a different lot and renovated the place for our Sims...
I remember one time I made an elder and she fell in love with him(sims 2) and she would always come over and flirt with him. Every other time she would just hit my sims for no reason. I honestly wonder how and why this elder sim I made was so different for her?
I used to constantly check when my sims were on a date that Mrs Crumplebottom wasn't on the lot. I could guarantee that the moment I stopped checking to focus on my sim, Mrs Crumplebottom and her handbag of rage would appear and the attack would start.
