Thank you so much for this video recommendation FunBubble. I appreciate this channel and your gardening channel. I purchased this solar panel and 2 charger yesterday on Amazon for my bug out car/bag. bless.
That is a really cool Solar Panel. I love the size and how it folds out. So easy to pack and go. Hi Squeak....neighbor cat (grumpy cat) is making himself at home I see.
This looks like what I need but I would need to remove the plastic usb box. I need it to fit into a 1” space when folded. It looked like it measured right at 1” on the tape. Do you think it could squish down to fit 1”?
Hello, I have a question about the 40W Portable Solar Charger, is it possible to charge a 12v car battery via the DC port or will it only output 19v?
I hope it was winter when you were testing than panel because it should never be angled toward the sun that drastically. up 48 degrees tilt in the winter and up to 20 degrees in the summer depending on what state you live in
@colbur87 the angle the panel is set towards the sun is A primary factor in how the panels will perform. Panels laid flat on the ground in the summer will only produce about 80%of the panel rating. Tilting the panels toward the sun at an appropriate angle for your location will optimize the panel performance. Usually 15-20 degrees in the summer and possible as much but not more than 48 degrees in the winter. Over 48 degrees is worse than laying them flat.
@@MYCHANNELWITHMYSTUFF ah yes that makes sense. I was listening to the video and assumed they were pointed towards the sun. Thanks for the clarification.
@@MYCHANNELWITHMYSTUFF you can actually get a mobile app that you lay it on the solar panel and then tilt the panel until the phone shows the optimum tilt for time of day.
Mine seems to work fine for the DC 12V (36W) and the USB A (19 W) in direct sunlight recharging an Ecoflow RIver. But the USB C output seem faulty. Puts out about 30 W for a few seconds then goes dead. Sending it back for a replacement. If that USB C doesn't work then getting refund from Amazon.

Very cool. 40W that folds up like that? Amazing!
Thank you for all the detailed information. Really really good job sir. Great work also in video editing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I have “neighbor’s cat”, too. It’s mission in like is to annoy my dogs😆
Great review, i appreciate the thoroughness. Are the panels standing up to use? Or stored ICE?

Hello. Why is that important? Are you worried about heat?
