It's so impactful because he is dedicating the song to his best friend who had passed away a few years back, and the song has a different meaning to the singer because of it.
No matter how many times i watch these videos, Fernando Daniel is still my favorite of all.

The guy who sang Chandalier sings fantastic. I can't remember his name but I do know he won The Voice a few years ago here in the US. He's great and will have a fantastic career.
Calum Scott is the only male singer who still gives me chills from the first time I heard him to this day. He is the only singer who puts his whole heart and soul into his song and performance. He is amazing and I love him. James Arthur is legendary next to him. He totally knows how to turn a song around and make it his.

I watch these talent videos with singers a lot since I saw the tragedy on AGT of Jackie Evancho come in second. Of all of them Calum Scott is easily the best I've ever heard. You can tell he is extremely nervous but his singing is nearly pitch perfect! Add to that the way his eyes are never on the judges or rarely on the audience, you get the feeling that he has lived the song and is putting his whole heart into it. Amazing performance!!
Yeah he was nervous esp since his sister Jade sang before him and she didn't get through...
#3 is the safest and heartwarming of them. You need to hear the conversation he had with Simon on stage before singing this song. Anyone who doesn’t shed a tear has no soul.
For the Jealous one, when I watched his full audition a couple months ago where he said he was singing it for his d3ad best friend, I thought of my best friend if that happened to her and I was BALLING my eyes out. I love his audition 🥺❤️ ty for adding it to the list

They applauded at the end. Sometimes a perfomance is so moving you don't want to interrupt it, and that is what happened there.
