You are the third independent person to come out with something like this. Its such a simple and needed idea for saddle hunting, i cant believe one of the big stand/saddle companies hasnt produced something like this. Much luck to you in this endeavor.
@@ospreyoutdoors2225I bet if you some how made this where it had a seat so once your up there you lock it in place fold down seat pull slack turn around sit down then you would have made it easy one platform and your rope system
There are 4 of these on the market at this time. This is the best I’ve seen. Simple and works with a ring of steps. I always use a platform + a ring of steps. 👍👏
The only problem I see with this is if your boots slip off the platform and the platform slides down the tree how are you getting it back up to you? I think it should be attached or somehow you’re able to retrieve it back up the tree.
That tree is an old white oak ~40" in diameter. I don't climb trees in the dark I can't get my hands around so that one is a no go for me without being prepped.
Hi Glenn, they should be available for purchase on the website now. We committed to ship our pre-orders by end of July. Looks like we should be one month ahead, likely shipping all pre-orders this week. At current pace, it might not take long before getting on back orders though.
@@ospreyoutdoors2225hello please make a top to this something like a hand climber that’s light for bow hunting and crossbow hunting something like summit open shot in terms of its open design man you could sell all you could make
Hi Paul and thanks for your interest. That information is available on our website www.ospreyoutdoors.com - let us know if you can't find it, we will make it more visible. Thank You!
@@EricBynog-zd4rd You probably could. When I first started saddle hunting years ago, I used my LW Hand Climber seat/top section as my platform with some hillbilly engineered foot straps and climbed basically the same way they show in this video. While there are pros to climbing with a system like this, as with any climbing stand you're just limited to the size and shape of trees you can get up in more than a sticks & platform or "one stick" methods. Whichever you prefer is up to the individual hunter to decide on though.

Thank you. We appreciate the support! It took a couple of years to test and finetune the product from the original idea.

Love that you did this with boots on
Been using the bottom of my climber for a few years….bought this as soon as I saw it. Just arrived, now just have to figure out how to pack it best

@@Jak1481 Good point! We have a cord you connect to your saddle if you look closer to the video or website pictures.
What is the total weight of this product with the strap?
Theres a tree at 5:38 to the right branches going everywhere will this fit around that base and get you in it?
That tree is an old white oak ~40" in diameter. I don't climb trees in the dark I can't get my hands around so that one is a no go for me without being prepped.
You won't get any full climber that can fit around that tree
How do you get around branches? Or are you restricted to trees without branches for the first 20’? Thanks!
Sit in the saddle and unhook the platform. Go above the branch and rebook it
Always loose slack in the tether! Chances of falling are always there when moving the tether that far up and down.
Nice piece of equipment how much

6"-22" diameter trees according to their website at the moment
What are the dimensions and weight?

No path to the ground? Sure there is. It’s called a repelling rope
So how do I get one?
