The second single form "Very" was extensively remixed by Beatmasters. The video has a strong 1960s influence.
This track is included in SMASH - The Singles 1985 - 2020. The complete collection of Pet Shop Boys singles in chronological order. “SMASH" will be released on Parlophone on June 16th in a variety of formats including 3CD box set, 6LP vinyl box set and digitally, as well as two special limited edition formats available exclusively via the Pet Shop Boys store - 6LP white vinyl box set and 3-cassette box set. A 3CD/2Blu-ray edition will also be released which includes the complete video collection of the singles plus extras.

A estética do video e seus elementos da decada de 60 em fusão com o futurismo, traís " I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing" como umas das obras mais fantastica da dupla. Yes! I've been expecting this one! Althought very similar, the 7" mix is a bit different than the one from the PopArt. And as far as I remember, the video version is the 7" mix.Same structure, but a very subtle different mix.

From this single, three different maxi CDs were released in Germany, each with different mixes and remixes.

Remember seeing this back in the 90s when it came out. Seemed pretty ahead of its time back then, but again I was maybe 13 or 14 when it came out. Let's just say the graphics haven't aged too well. 😋
It still beats 90% of the modern video clips that are being produced these days. Imho! ;)
