RECIPE
Apple Cobbler
Ingredients
-2 tbsp butter
-1 cup all purpose flour or (2-3 cups gluten free flour) I used an almond flour mixture
-1 cup light or dark brown sugar
-2 tsp baking
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1 cup milk
-1 tbsp vanilla
-5-6 apples cored, skinned, and cut into wedges ( I used canned apple pie filling)
-2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Drop the butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish and place the dish in the oven to melt, about 10 minutes. 2. To make the batter. Stir together the flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add the milk and vanilla, mix until just combined. *If using gf flour & it looks soupy add another cup of the gf flour until it resembles cake batter.3. In a bowl, toss the apples with 1/4 cup brown sugar and the maple syrup. Simmer in a pot for 8-10 minutes. (Unless you’re using pie filling then skip this step)4. Layer half of the apples over the melted butter. Then, pour over the batter, do not stir. Layer the remaining apples over the batter. Bake 50-55 minutes, until the center is just set and the edges begin to brown. 5. Serve the cobbler warm or at room temp with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy

Biblical submission is such a necessary component to the upholding of order in a marriage and family. If there were two heads surely chaos would ensue. A woman using her God-given function and femininity to support the God-led mission of her husband honors God. Anyone that’s worked outside of the home has submitted to a company and manager that may not have had their best interest in mind. I’d much rather submit to my husband who I know respects my contributions, loves me, considers me and always has my best interest in mind and heart.
