I think their best song is "running away" and again, I don't care what the people around me had to say about it. It's just such a beautiful song. "Running away" would be my suggestion for the next one if you are going to do a second hoobastank.

Music videos usually came out a while after the song was released back then because MTV was pretty much the only place people would see it. RUclips wasn't a thing until 2005

Glad to see music like this still reaches people.
A few songs like this I'd suggest are "New Disease" by Spineshank, "In League" by Bile (might not be YT friendly), and "Wake the Dead" by Comeback Kid. Apologies if you've done them already, I took a quick scroll and didn't see them.
Also, the Teespring link has nothing on it, and the intro song link says 'Video unavailable'.
Anyway, keep up the great work, it's nice to see reaction videos that enjoy the song in its entirety.

A lot of people used to crack on them and call them rip offs and Candy ass. They were trying to be like Incubus they were trying to be like this band they were trying to be like that band...

Back in the day, radio stations would get advanced copies of singles... A song could be getting radio play for months, before an album hit the shelves... And videos took longer to hit MTV... If a song was not winning over the radio audience, they would go ham with the video to get it over.

Always have. I used to get cracked on about it but I don't care, it's a great song.
If I remember correctly, I think I read an interview where the band said they had the band name down to 2 choices, "Hoobastank" and "Snaps on the Petro" which is a famous line from MC Eiht in the movie Menace 2 Society which the band members were huge fans of. I think a record company exec or someone close to them urged them to go with Hoobastank.

Not sure you can handle this one. Friends of mine had a band called HARM. Little Canadian band that for some reason never hit it big. The video is done by another friend. Everything you see in this vid is REAL. You will never find this on your own. It is rare and sure to shake you to your core. Harm - Argue and Grin (Official Music Video).
