I remember I was soooo mad in 2019 when Ester didn't qualify, one of my favourites that year! And 2022 was just pure happiness I think the song is decent enough but then he was so lovely he really sold the song and the performance. Yesssss 2017 the yodelling i absolutely love it, major guilty pleasure
In 2016 Romania had financial problems with EBU they didn't sort out so EBU disqualified them
In 2021 the broadcaster forced Roxen to have that staging, despite her making it clear she wasn’t comfortable with it; evidently messing up her vocals…
You know what that actually makes sense. I could feel she has a great voice and would have done better but I still enjoyed what I saw.
For the year 2019, you missed exactly the best song ever sung in the Eurovision contests and the most phenomenal and versatile female voice born on this planet. It is the voice of Laura Bretan, a voice born for opera, but which can sing any musical genre at a dreamlike quality.
When Laura participated in Eurovision 2019, she was not yet 17 years old and the song is called Dear Father which was composed by the Romanian composer Mihai Alexandru ( ruclips.net/video/x1NPm88iflU/видео.html ). The rightful winner was Laura Bretan.
At the age of barely 15, Laura could sing opera arias alongside professional opera singers ( ruclips.net/video/Lz42P-kujwI/видео.html ).

2021 is my all time favorite entry and she was done so dirty...if she didn't have all the running and wasn't dragged all over the stage she would have qualified..
I was quite taken with Ester Peony's entry back in 2019 as well, esp the video.
