When Estonia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 1993, the song representing Estonia was selected on the condition that it be performed by Janika Sillamaa. Janika performed eight songs in the final of the Estonian round. The winning song was chosen by 12 experts. The contest was won by Andres Valkonen's song "Muretut meelt ja südametuld". In the preliminary round of the contest in Ljubljana on 3 April, this song came in fifth place out of seven and did not qualify for the final. "Eliminated" is very wrong word here.

Just for small reference :) 1996-2012 and 2016 is the same singer. 2002 and 2007 same singer and 2008 and 2019 are same singers :) all 3 singers superb quality singers. However when we go to Eurovision we tend to fuck up the entire performance. Its always a bit off or the music is too loud and it cant show the song in the best light. All 3 are capable of winning the contest but i dont know what is going on when its time to do it live. Only 2007 and 2012 were done good. in 2019 we ended up in 1st place at the finals but the public vote voted other song as a winner and their points were more than what we got

In the national selection, her manager told her "Look at yourself, you can't present yourself like this. You need to lose weight. Look beside you, all these slim girls, don't you want to be like them?" Her family couldn't even go with her to Baku, she could only bring stylists with her. And the headdress? She was forced into wearing it, being a shy and insecure girl, she couldn't really say anything else, not even a no. After her performance, she walked into the dressing room only to see her manager, who told her "You ruined everything, Joan. Everything is ruined." where she was left on her own. She returned to her hotel room, crying and vomiting from exhaustion. She tried reaching out to her team, but nobody would pick up. She was traumatized, and her image was destroyed. Joan started making music under a new name.

Glad it wasn't cancer but still not great, that you have this cronnical illness, and have to worry about potential(blood) infections/ if a bag has burst every time you have cramps. Hopefully it won't come to that. And hope you have a great life despite this illness.

Hey dear, I'm not a big reactor to vids, but this caught me, cause I had the same issues except vomiting. I had some blood in my stool and went to my doctor who recommended me to do a endoscopie, what I did. The worst thing about was drining the stuff to get rid of the sh... The endoscopie was nothing to be afraif of. They found a polyp and took it out and sent it to a laboratory. They found out, that are cancer-cells and recommended me to let remove a part of my colon, what I did. I really didn't regret it it and now I'm cancer-free. The surgery was done end of april. I was at the hospital for ten days and a few weeks later I went back to work. Since cancer was a big issue in my whole family (with no good outcome), I rellay was afraid getting the diagnosis of cancer. But it was early enough in my case and now I have no more issues. I really can feel what you're going through right now and I wish you all the best and good luck, that it'll be just something non-dangerous. But even if, there's a big chance that everything will go well. I know I cant't take your fears away, but I hope I could give you some courage. All the best dear... 🙂greetings from Germany
