I was not playing retrostudio for like year, and when I saw egg hunt in retrostudio, I was like 'eh, gonna try it'. After this, I just come back to retrostudio, with 24/7 online.
19:00 funnily enough that's exactly what happens in Super Paper Mario, each chapter you complete the black hole in the sky gets bigger and bigger, really giving you this sense of impending doom. It would be really cool if something like that could be implemented in the next egg hunt!
Egg hunt 2023 is Great, it takes an step further on world building and challenging quests, each world seems like its own thing, barely connected with each other, but thats the magic of the event, you are quite literary going across the eggverse, which its the idea, it makes sense every world is so different, not only astehtically, the quests are also different, following the theme of each world in a surprisingly good way, with great soundtracks to keep them up, this is the kind of *passion* i like to see. 8.7/10
@@Argo_Spiral I built World 1 myself, help with World 4 with Rich Island Buildings (forgot the name), and World 5 with Labyrinth Maze and Core Planet extras!
@@mythstars I loved all those areas you did a good job! Though I have to ask how the hell do you get to rich island, it was never clear and I haven't seen anyone go there yet.
@@Argo_Spiral What I mean by that is the theming of the boss fight, which well seems to be an end of the world spacey kind of environment, my biggest example of this would be the Fecto Ellis boss from Kirby and the forgotten land, The kind of attacks like the crystals he throws, and the black hole are also some attacks that look like it would be from a Kirby final boss... It's difficult to explain. (also, is it me or does Time Walker look like Magalor (but doesn't) at the same time)
@@Freddy-ThatOneGuy I see what you mean, would make sense as when you have something to go off of for your gameplay and battle arena it makes development much easier

There was certain things for Timewalker which are now scrapped because lack of time + not enough scripters just doing the job (don't blame em though, they have their lives on stake in the real world) But be aware, the souls of the dead arrive in October. So, thy be prepared. (psst, in the mean time, make a map for the halloween paintball game)
on a serious note though, thanks for enjoying the egg hunt we've put out we've gone through development hell and struggles to get this finished, but glad we're still able to deliver nonetheless
