    It´s no Cosworth, just a simple pinto 8valve engine.
    Don´t know what horspower the car have, but i have killed many 330hp cosworths on the quartermile
    Spent a total of 5500 dollars at the car.

    My friend had carbed 2.0 sierra for a month or two. It was pretty easy to drive on snow but it lacked some power and was a bit too heavy.
    Now he bought E30 318 bmw and holy shit it's more fun to drift. :)
    300kg lighter and worn rear tires = what a blast. I'm getting a E30 for a winter beater next week too. :D

    thats an impressive sierra.whats the estimated hp??.youve made a very good job.
    btw,the 2 liters pinto 8v is the one found in the sierra gt/xr4i and other 2.0 125hp engines??greetings

    If you read the spec that is to the right of this film window you will se that it´s a pinto with cosworth rods and pistons

  • @Skogenracing
    @Skogenracing  15 лет назад +2

    It´s a pinto with cosworth rods and piston. The Turbo is to large actually. If you want good respons i strongly recommend a Garrett GT30

    Nice drifting i love it :) But 1 question what LSD did you used? and how did you get it

  • @Skogenracing
    @Skogenracing  15 лет назад +1

    Almost stock, it has rods and piston from the sierra cosworth and a lighty ported head. The engine is the standard engine in the Ford Sierra and it has no V-tech or similar valve-timing system

  • @guardsman25149311
    @guardsman25149311 14 лет назад +1

    if the sierra isnt a good car you better go and tell the millions of people that bought them ran them for years and are still running them.
    as for the comment on trying to make a cosworth replica they didnt they chose a car with an efi pinto for a cheap easy turbo build look on their channel they have sapphire cosworths that they thrash around as well.
    the pinto is the base engine used to develop the yb anyway for the kind of money they have spent they have gotten good results.

  • @Marko-JZX100
    @Marko-JZX100 16 лет назад

    Yeah the balance rocks. Front brakes are awesome for getting the rear slide before hitting the gas.
    Omega would rock because it has locked diff at stock.
    I'm going to go see a 324td E30 tomorrow. Don't know is it going to be a bit too powerfull for winter. Guy claims it has 200hp+ and a big ass holset installed from a truck. :D
    I'm definitely going to need a welded diff for it if I buy it. :P
