I've never speed matched anything in my life. Seems like more trouble than it's worth. Most models are fairly similar in performance these days anyway, and BEMF can take care of small discrepancies without any input from the user. In the case of that lash-up, they're all Athearn Genesis models produced within the last three years, so they're all as close to identical as it's possible to get anyway.
