Well bust my britches! Throw axes and eat pizza, awesome scenery, great people and I never had a bad meal anywhere in Tennessee, thanks for taking me there, I don't think they want us to have thos kind of axes here in Florida 😆 🎸
They were awesome. Yes I don't think anyone has done this one. But take it from us people soon will be going here once the word gets out. It's that good 😎😎
Hey guys! I'm so glad you tried coal oven pizza, and especially the New Haven pie. I grew up and cut my teeth on Frank Pepe's Pizza in New Haven. My parents went there in the 40s, when they were engaged, and were friends with the Pepe family. They've been in business since 1925 and we're the first pizzeria in CT at that time. New Haven Pizza exploded after Frank Pepe opened his store on Wooster Street. He started in a family run pizzeria in NYC and came to New Haven with a pushcart where he served his Apizza (ah-beetz) from. The rest is history!! Gary Bimonte, his grandson, took over the restaurant and opened stores in many other states in the 2010s. Gary was a friend and brother to me. He passed in 2020, and we miss him terribly. But, his and his grandfather's legacy lives on. Pepe's is the home of the original tomato pie! Crushed Italian Tomatoes (San Marzano), Grated Pecorino Romano & Olive Oil But when you go to Pepe's and order your pie, you've got to ask for Mozz (Mootz). That's how they roll with Apizza Napolitana!! pepespizzeria.com/about-us
Another great video 👍 I watch all the smoky mountain video s I have never seen all the places you have been to great job. Never heard of those pepperoni rolls will have to look out for them .
They are huge in our State. Our food of our state. In West Virginia they are so good and about the only place you can find them. Check out the link on the video you just watched in the description. That will show you the history of some and the best of the state. We were just starting when we made this video lol
We went here because you guys said they had pep rolls. The owner there said they were different from traditional pep rolls (pizza dough) but that his West Virginia grandmother approved of their version. Good enough for me, and they were great. We went back for some pizza later on that day. They have as good a pizza as we've ever had anywhere. We've had Neopolitan, Detroit, Chicago thick and thin, NYC, etc., but if I had to choose, I'd take this one. This is a real gem in the Smokies.
We are glad you enjoyed it. This is our favorite place to get pizza in the Smokies. We love the pepperoni rolls. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎
Wow - I could just go to town on those pepperoni rolls! They look absolutely delicious and that is the type of food I love - sticks or bites and the like. That would be dangerous for me, couldn't stop eating them. LOL Thank you for the video, the great eats, and for making me ravenously hungry. heheh
pecorino Ramano is sheep's milk cheese. I keep it in the same container as my parm and use them together. Man, everything you tried looks so mouthwatering! Great Video, I sure enjoy your videos. Keep it up!
Love your channel! Yall have to try The Capri in downtown grafton WV. The steak hoagie ask for soft buns when you order and their pizza is great! Tell them you traveled and they will hook you up. I grew up in Preston & Taylor counties and travel 8 hours one way just for the capri💙💛
Used to go to the Grafton Drive Inn all the time. Never been to the Capri. Used to be a great restaurants in Grafton not sure if it was called 4 corners. Appreciate you watching. 😎😎
Their pizza and pepperoni rolls looked quite good. I live in the southern area of West Virginia so I am quite fond of pepperoni rolls. I found some really good pepperoni rolls at our local Sam's club. I will look for them again when I go back in a few days. They are made in a West Virginia bakery in the northern part of the state. They load them with flat pepperoni which is my favorite kind in a pepperoni roll. Nice to see that the place is doing really well!
Probably Roger and Mazzas ones that's what they sell in Sam's here. They are good. My friend used to be the owner of that company. Try Home industry if you can find them they are in Sheetz here in Northern WV. Our favorite
man oh man did that look tasty. plus it looks like a great place to hook up with friends and being an old Pennsylvania boy I can appreciate them pepperoni bread sticks we had pepperoni balls keep up the good work and remembered Rock and Roll baby
Parmigiana comes from cows milk and Pecorino Romano comes from sheep’s milk. Two completely different cheeses. My family is from southern Italy and I grew up with Pecorino Romano. Nice cupping pepperoni on that pizza. Keep up the Great Job you two!!! -Nick Giardiello
Lol. Hope you screen was clean. Its in all our stores in West Virginia and I love them and eat at least one every week. Thanks for watching and comment 😎😎
Not sure don't live here. I know they have tourist taxes at some places as a way to make money. Graceland has a ton of taxes at the Guesthouse. Ridiculous. 😎😎

We like everyone so far. Big Daddys was really good though. But the West by God and Mellow Mushroom are close also. Hard question. We haven't tried very many.😎😎
Food looks excellent, but I don’t think I want to eat in a place where axes are being thrown behind me , especially if those people are drinking alcohol. Plenty of great pizza places in that area, I will skip that place for sure. Thanks for the video.
Their pizza is great, the pepperoni rolls look like they could use more pepperoni.
They have good pizza. They probably could have used a few more pieces of pepperoni. But the pepperoni rolls were delicious. 😎😎
Didn’t know about this & we visit Tennessee every year! Thank you! We will have to try this thanks to your videos & information!
We love their pizza. They have excellent pepperoni rolls. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😎😎

I have never seen a pepperoni roll (I'm in Washington state), and they looked so good, I almost licked my tablet screen!
Lol. Hope you screen was clean. Its in all our stores in West Virginia and I love them and eat at least one every week. Thanks for watching and comment 😎😎
@@jbinthehills It was clean! (And I didn't do it in public! I'm silly, but not THAT silly! 😁)
Appreciate the comment made me laugh 😎😎
Going to have to try this place out instead of always getting pie at mellow mushroom. 🙃
We thought the pizza was very good we also loved the pepperoni rolls. We are from West Virginia and that's what we are famous for.😎😎
Those pepperoni rolls look good
They are delicious 😎😎
why do some Tennessee sales receipts have only sales tax and some have an additional tax as well?
Not sure don't live here. I know they have tourist taxes at some places as a way to make money. Graceland has a ton of taxes at the Guesthouse. Ridiculous. 😎😎

In Erie, Pa, we have deep fried pepperoni balls!
Want to come to Erie some day. Have to try them. 😎😎
You also have to try out Smith's Hot dogs, Greek sauce, sponge candy and ox roast! (It's beef, not ox)
What is your all time favorite pizza place in Sevierville or Pigeon Forge, TN?
We like everyone so far. Big Daddys was really good though. But the West by God and Mellow Mushroom are close also. Hard question. We haven't tried very many.😎😎
Are pepperoni rolls really the state food of West Virginia or are you just making that up? Also, that pizza 🍕 looks fantastic! 😋
It is the state food. They are so good. 😎😎
@@jbinthehills I didn’t know that. Thanks for the confirmation, I thought you were joking.
It’s true
Food looks excellent, but I don’t think I want to eat in a place where axes are being thrown behind me , especially if those people are drinking alcohol. Plenty of great pizza places in that area, I will skip that place for sure. Thanks for the video.
Your welcome. We appreciate you watching and commenting 😎😎
How greasy is the pizza?
We like grease so it was a little greasy. The pepperoni rolls were amazing. Get them if you go.😎😎
Great video minus the beginning. Sorry I despise YITS. Love you two though ❤
We appreciate you watching. We met them a few times at the meet- ups. The pizza was very good. We like their pepperoni rolls, too.😎😎
Could Bobbi maybe have a little more enthusiasm on the intro?
LOL Bobbie is excited every place we go. We have so much fun together 😎😎
