In my opinion the perfect lens of all time is canon L EF 85mm f1.4 IS USM I sold my f1.2 85mm to buy this one and I fell in love after taking first photo having that option I hope no no ever will buy this f1.2 version if you don't have that lens I highly recommend :)
Thanks for the feedback Janusz! Well, I never tested the 85mm EF f1.4, but I will! Anyway, keep in mind that the Canon 82 mm that you had, was built long time ago and it wasn't that sharp at f1.2. This 50mm RF version is very precise and it misses focus very very rarely.
@@VideoMakerTwist oh yes this I don’t doubt for sure but my point was that canon should build all lenses like this f1.4 difference is almost impossible to see they are lighter image stabiliser easier to implement and cost cheaper I really wish to have all focal lengths lenses like this one you need to try it thank you will understand what is in my mind
Sir thanks for this video i wish you all the best . I afraid to buy the 50 1.2 becuase it does not have image stabilizer because i always shoot videos 💔💔💔
Yeah, but honestly, having a 1.2 lens when shooting video, is a bit complicated anyways when focusing. I would suggest having a 2.8 lens when filming. Check out this video where I'm talking about the 24-70 f2.8: ruclips.net/video/uOaRjn2PoWw/видео.html
@@VideoMakerTwist oh thanks for the reply man i really liked the 24-70 i will get it soon . I did not know prime lenses got problems whth focusing while shooting video is the rf prime lenses all like this ?
@@VideoMakerTwist 70-200 2.8. Is my favorite zoom. Though if I didn’t have that 50 I might have gone with the 28-70 2.0. But that thing is always out of stock lol
I can't wait to buy this lens!
Great. Great Review about RF 50mm 1.2. I'm choosing between rf or ef for video on R5
Glad it was helpful MAGA! I have the Canon 50mm f1.4 EF version too. Would you be interested in a review with pros and cons for it? :)
@@VideoMakerTwist will be great. The ef 50mm f1.4 works fine on video?
