Ohio Civil War Battle Flags

During the American Civil War, Ohio provided over 200 regiments. Each one of the regiments carried a distinctive flag, and many of these flags are housed at the Ohio History Connection. We take a look at their collection with military history curator Benjamin Baughman.

I wonder if the 8th Ohio, the 41st Ohio, the 23rd Ohio and the 2nd Ohio cavalry flags are there. Those are the regiments my ancestors fought in. Very interesting video.
