Hey Bruce, I just stumbled across your channel here. And I am loving it. I have a challenge with a Squire Strat that I recently purchased used. I purchased it through the mail. From the pictures, I noticed a slight lift in the tremolo plate. I assumed it was going to be tightening the 6 screws or adjusting the spring anchor plate. When I got it, I discovered 3 of the 6 screws were stripped. When I disassembled it, I found that the tremolo must have taken a hard hit. The block between the bridge pickup and the tremolo cut out is cracked through on both sides. Do you know how and what I could use to repair it? Keep cranking out the videos they are great. Such an interesting story. You made mention of Buddy Holly and his Strat. Did Hank mention anything about the compatible group in the US called the Ventures? They also started out in the same time period using Fenders.

All I wanted was a red electric guitar. It had to be red because of Hank and the fabulous sound he got from it. Mark knopfler.
