Who the hell is butt hurt about a bunch of people lying about creating something they didn't lol 😂. Nando boom was the first reggaeton rapper. 😂 he's Jamaican & Panamanian. I think it was a sample of Rayvon's voice from a combination w/ Shaggy. Seems like after Yankee (well, he's a hitmaker anyway a. ev'rybody knows) hit big again involving Snow, he thought it works great bringing in more legends from the dancehall. Respect Shaggsman, cool dog as always. °*°*°*°*

    Reggaeton is a fusion genre birth in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. What panama did eas reggae en Espanol. Which is literally just dancehall in Spanish. Nothing original.

    • @GS-bx8xw
      @GS-bx8xw 6 месяцев назад +2

      mmm NOP , Reggaeton is a fusion between dancehall riddim and riddim of different genre, what did Puerto Rico?, is just get hip hop, add their flavor on Dancehall riddim (Pounder Riddim mayorty) that was something that El General and Jamaican artists already did on early 90's as Sleepy Wonder, Super Cat, Cutty Ranks, Nicodemus and many more

      @@GS-bx8xw all those Panamians are just Hispanic dancehall artists. Unclog your hears you know Puerto Ricans incorporated Latin Caribbean genres into what they created. (Salsa, merengue, Bachata, Bomba, and Plena) that's exactly why it blew up. It was a global success because the blend of sounds and genres Puerto Ricans. If Panamians and Jamaicans created it, would dancehall and reggae not still be alive? Exactly they died out. Puerto Ricans created a global success. @@robertoglencoco7861 mm so what do you think El General did? I can't understand really, all that you mentioned El general did on 1991 and also all his records are cataloged as REGGAETON for your information, in the Library of Congress under Federal Laws, I can't believe it, bro open your eyes, every country get their flavor on the songs but it doesn't mean, that have to be a same pattern, give me a break

    • @robertoglencoco7861
      @robertoglencoco7861 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@GS-bx8xw El general was reggae en Espanol. The term Reggaeton wasn't even around back then. Reggae en Espanol did not contain any musica Tropicale genres and NY Hip hop beats. Influence does not mean create. Puerto Ricans were already rapping over rap and Reggae beats along with implementing their Bomba and Plena rhythms. Yes they liked the singing dancehall in Spanish and started doing it as well. The reggaeton you hear today is the blended sound that was birthed in Puerto Rico and was given to the world by Puerto Rico. Now every one wants to do what Puerto Rico was and still is doing. Not Jamaica or Panama. Jamaica was already credited as an influence. Hence the name Reggaeton. One man created the Dembow riddim, not an entire country. Didn't create any other aspect of the genre. It also draws majority Puerto Rican, US, Dominican, and Cuban influences. Nothing from Panama since it was just Jamaican music. Puerto Rico created and changed the Latin music market. It now leads due to its success of Reggaeton 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

      the origin of the Reggaeton was at FLATBUSH Brooklyn, just for you information, El General and Michael F Ellis are the Founder Father's of Reggaeton were Shaggy, Raven, Red Fox, Super Cat, Screechy Dan were part of the foundation, producers as Bobby Konders, Mr Doo, Phillip Smart, Dennis The Menace, Dj Sting International and even Clevie were part of this, so now you understand why Shaggy says, "Daddy Yankee called to me to make a documentary about the reggaeton" Because Shaggy were part of this and obviously EL GENERAL was one of the Founder Father's of Reggaeton, this term and genre was taken to Puerto Rico to scatter in the Island and then all LATAM, from there, Puerto Rico made it own version.
      unfortunately I can't add a link to you understanding.
      Remember El General don't make Dancehall as all the Panamanians,he blended genres as The Rude Girl (La Atrevida ) Gringoman,this genre didn't star from Gasolina, started on 1991 with Panamanians and Jamaicans resident in New York, Bless up 🇵🇦🔥
