@@lostsheepadventures You do every climb every decent and every river crossing twice? Or you leave 25 cameras out till you come back? I checked- your shoes and trousers are dry at the tunnel and at the battery. If you ever find yourself back up Waihi way I can show you lots of mining relics here too- they are in every valley around here.

I need to get to mace town i flew out off Christchurch from Wellington on route to Melbourne last week the views in and out of there was absolutely stunning
Ah the stinger bullbar? Came with the truck and like the style. Its designed to stop a frontal roll over and give a visual reference to the driver of approach angle.
Lost Sheep Adventures Interesting. Never seen one like that over this way. Probably like everything this side of the ditch, its either illegal or compulsory LOL. Love your little light weight rig. Keep up the good work👍
How's the track at this time of year as far as traffic and water levels? Imagine how much of a mission it would have been to get the parts for Anderson's Battery in there back in the day.
Water levels are low and traffic is high from New Years on-wards for around 3 weeks ish. The track would have been in better condition back in the day but still would have been a huge effort to get any of that gear in there.
Sold a single cab hilux 2.8 +t a few months after buying this haha Love the jeep too much now to think about selling it but if fuel stays on the rise, maybe a diesel swap could be in order haha
Once you are on the track there isn't anywhere to get lost. The 1st 8 crossings are the tricky part if never been there before but in summer can be easily navigated
Came with the vehicle, its a Rugged Ridge modular XHD front bar. From what i've been told, Stingers are not legal in NZ. Seems there are a couple that are, but just simple removed this to save hassle
Believe it was a rugged ridge one. Would find it a little difficult to put back together at times. The JKS style looks to be a bit easier. I have had a couple problems with VTNZ wanting to fail them though saying they need Cert.

Will be picking up a 4wd in Queenstown in a few weeks with my teenage daughter. Any chance you'd be keen to join us to do some of the local trails?
Hey mate! Unfortunately I'm out of town for another month yet. Hope you have a wicked trip though!

Are you always snacking?
My Grandmother was born in Macetown in 1898.
I just biked up there
Hey mate, love your channel. Do you get nervous driving a petrol through deep crossings like these?
Not at all, know the limits of the vehicle and waterproof everything you can. Its usually sweet as!
I love your Jeep ! Can you please tell me what size tyres you have on it ?
33x10.5R15
Hey where’s the video where you went to lake sheehey in Alexandra
Its part of the Carricktown video, I add it in on the end there.
Good vid! Nice job
Is a snorkel a must for this trip? Keen to go check it out
After the recent flooding i would say, yes. Some of the crossing on the main road are now easily bonnet depth
Damnnnn that cave tho, that's a whole other adventure on it's own. Your bush tucker is a beauty chur butha🤙
