  • In this video, we explain what ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) exactly is, and we show you the differences between an ECAS air suspension and conventional air suspension.
One of the biggest differences for truck drivers is the speed at which your suspension system raises and lowers the trailer. An Electronically controlled system is a lot faster and easier to use.

Hi Hamid, we really don't know much about your Freightliner Cascadia, as this is an American truck, and we're a European trailer manufacturer. However, it's useful to know that an ECAS system uses input data from a lot of different sensors, so taking a look at those probably won't hurt. Specifically check the height sensor/levelling valve on your rear axle as seen in this video: ruclips.net/video/LiQlsMfYlPs/видео.html
P.S.: always put safety first when working on your truck by yourself! We hope this helps!
