Despite the loss, this set should really certify that Shadic needs to be in the discussion as one of the best up and comers in Smash Ultimate. Shadic has been playing his best and is on fire, making to Top 8 already. He's only 15! Would love to see how far he goes. Also Dadic really supporting him is so wholesome.
So right. His usage of neutral b and bair as movement tools to advance the speed of a relatively slow character is so nice to watch.

the comeback in game 3 and the edgeguard in game 4 were insane
Honestly one of the biggest compliments when Light pulls up his sleeves for you.
This is one of the best sets in smash ultimate history that I’ve seen so far. Shadic being able to keep up with Lights speed, reactions, and skills of his caliber using CORRIN, has really showed me how understanding interactions, adapting, conditioning, mixups, patience, and having discipline is so imperative. Also how character choice doesn’t always matter if you have clear understanding of how the mental game works. He moved with so much purpose and rarely made any mistakes. I felt like Light really had to work for his stocks 90% of the time without steam rolling Shadic. Despite the loss, Shadic should get so much props. He’s such a great player and has so much potential.

@@abstral7192 item priority on all her smash attacks and side b, also on her neutal b bite and her fully charged projectile loses to a single mega man pellet, people always get out from the side b kick and a lot of times 2frame pin doesn't actually tipper you and instead pins you under the stage, also people fall out of bite all the time and counter misses A LOT. No one told me shit, I play this character since smash 4 and can assure you I know more about her than any of you

That game 5, Light was playing so different and so much slower, I thought Shadic had messed him up and Light was off his game. Nope. Best player in the U.S. just has a deeper play style than he is usually forced to show. Props to Shadic for bringing out that side of Lights fox and almost taking it
