@ecdlacrosse A slo-mo video of someone shooting and passing with the Speed and Power would be beneficial to the consumer. Illustrating the difference in the amount of flex and the kick point where the shaft is most flexible under real world conditions.
Hey Greg my son plays club and is 12 years old. He plays a little bit of attack but mostly mid. What would you recommend power or speed ? Thanks I’m advance !
This is much stronger and higher performing compared to the Carbon 3.0. We like to compare them as performance vs pro series. The D pole is coming in around 359 grams
I’m debating between the $100 dollar carbon 3.0 and the $150 carbon pro 3.0 power. I play midi and I have never had a carbon shaft, and my current metal shaft is about 200g, would it be a noticeable upgrade?
Hey Greg & Co. For a 90 lb dodging mid / attack, is the standard 3.0 Carbon an adequate or overkill pairing for a Rebel head? If helpful to know, his other stick is a Maverick A1 shaft + Stringking intermediate head. Cheers.
@ecdlacrosse metal shafts typically bend more than carbon shafts while shooting. If so does that make a shot faster with a metal or composite shaft than with a stiff carbon shaft?
All shafts will bend, but a bending metal shaft is not great, Carbon fiber snaps right back into the original shape. If anything is factoring to a faster shot it will most likely be a lighter shaft not a bending or flexing shaft.
I am a fogo and I use a maverick Union shaft which is pretty beat up, so was thinking of looking for a replacement. What’s your best recommendation on which carbon shaft would be better for my position? Also does the butt of the carbon pro move at all/is there a way to stop it from moving when I take shots without tape?
We always recommend taping your end cap to ensure it does not slide off or move in the way of your shot. I would personally stick to an alloy shaft if you are doing a ton of faceoffs but if you wanted to use the Carbon Pro series. The power would be the recommended. model
I am a o-middie I had recently baughten the ion head i was wonderin two things what shaft is good with ion and what mesh is good with the ion (lookin for a complete build)
I would use a marker to make sure the new hole placement won't interfere with the stock hole. If they don't you can use a self tapping screw to make a new hole for the head.
Yes, However if you were to cut a pole down for a younger/smaller player we would go with our Carbon 3.0 over the pro model as the flex is specifically placed in this shaft.

That is a great suggestion. I will see if we can come up with video to demonstrate the concept.
Great suggestion shellback
@@ECDdid you ever make it happen?
We’re still waiting?!?!
I liked to hear about the added kevlar. During box I dropped my shoulder into a cross check and snapped a 2.0. Mind you I was like 155 at the time
Was it there carbon 2 box shaft or the regular carbon 2 shaft
Hey there! Great video you executed it very well, I’m looking forward to buying one of these new shafts!!!!!
Thank you.
Glad you like them! Which one are you thinking about picking up
Just ordered the d pole
Hope you love it!
You guys have to drop the signature blue heads again!
Oh we will!
I want to try the elbows and maybe the ion, echo looks really comfy and ion is really cool with the clear
They will be out before you know
Whats the weight comparison between the 3.0 Dpole and 3.0 Pro Dpole?
Nice I might order it seems nice for D poles
Edit: I felt it in person it’s extremely nice I’m definitely saving up it buy it
What is the weight in grams of each shaft?
Are you going to update the Carbon 2.0 box shaft or have you discontinued that SKU?
I don't think we are updating it just yet, more on order and should be back in stock soon
Would the speed work for youth two-way midfield? Would it work for the defensive side of two-way middies?
Hey Greg my son plays club and is 12 years old. He plays a little bit of attack but mostly mid. What would you recommend power or speed ? Thanks I’m advance !
I think you could go either way, if he is a more physical style player the power may be the better option
Should I get power or speed as a attack?
Depends what kinda player you are
@@badlarry8036 I play attack and sometimes mid
Alr watch what shaft fits your game it’s on ecds channel they have info on both
Is the pro overall better than the regular carbon 3.0 for defense shafts? I’m trying to decide
And is it good for lsm?
100 percent a stronger, lighter shaft with more flex technology.
Hey guys, how heavy is the defense shaft & how does the weight compare to the regular 3.0 defense shaft
This is much stronger and higher performing compared to the Carbon 3.0. We like to compare them as performance vs pro series. The D pole is coming in around 359 grams
Do you make canted 6 foot defensive version of the carbon 3.0?
Unfortunately not. Sorry!
Does the Carbon Pro 3.0 Power have the same concave as the Speed? Also, would you recommend a Power or Speed for a two-way middie?
No, the power uses our standard shaft shape. I would recommend the power for any two way players especially those who love to let it rip from outside
I’m debating between the $100 dollar carbon 3.0 and the $150 carbon pro 3.0 power. I play midi and I have never had a carbon shaft, and my current metal shaft is about 200g, would it be a noticeable upgrade?
I also have the weapon X face off head
It's all about preference. If you are a stronger player who likes to mix it up, I would hedge towards the Power!
Will other heads some out with diamond plastic or just ion?
Possibly! We are going to test it in all future heads and see if it will meet our expectations.

Steven,
I think that is a great option and would not call it overkill
Hey i have a rebel offense head but idk what shaft to get with it being either the pro or standard carbon 3.0
For a high shot speed side arm shooter that only plays middle which one of these shafts between the speed & the power would be better?
I'd go with the Power

How do I attach a head to the carbon pro 3.0 defense lacrosse shaft?

What’s your best recommendation on which carbon shaft would be better for my position? Also does the butt of the carbon pro move at all/is there a way to stop it from moving when I take shots without tape?
i’ve heard that some prefer metal shafts for facing off but idrk and for the butt you could just take it off (shame ik) and use tape hope this helps
I was advised by a friend to just tape my but where I want it and that’s works, but I’m still wondering which one they think is best for FO/FOGO
We always recommend taping your end cap to ensure it does not slide off or move in the way of your shot. I would personally stick to an alloy shaft if you are doing a ton of faceoffs but if you wanted to use the Carbon Pro series. The power would be the recommended. model
Cool, thanks a lot
I don't know if it's on all of them but what does the Morris code say on the back of it
It's specific to which version of the Pro 3 you have!
I am a o-middie I had recently baughten the ion head i was wonderin two things what shaft is good with ion and what mesh is good with the ion (lookin for a complete build)
Any of our shafts would be fantastic. The three I would lock in are the Carbon Pro 3.0 speed of power, or the MTX
@ECDlacrosse i am looking at the carbon pro 3.0 speed and I saw it has a new shape will the still fit on the rebal offense?
Sure does! All of our heads and shafts will fit
Ok thank you ECD. I’m going to go get one when I get time next weekend.
When will the elbows release?
Does the new more concave shaft shape still fit all the same heads?
It sure does
Do we have a public price to expect for the ion looking to pick one up on release day just seeing what I can expect
119.99 Unstrung
@@ECD there a price for custom yet too if so what
How heavy is the power?
how much do the speed and power each weigh?

I would use a marker to make sure the new hole placement won't interfere with the stock hole. If they don't you can use a self tapping screw to make a new hole for the head.
@@ECD thank you so much
How long is the D-pole?
Eyeblack and Ecd wins games
Gotta stay drippy as some may say
Is this shaft good for faceoffs
The power would be the best but generally we recommend alloys if you are doing mostly face-offs.
How much does the goalie shaft weigh compared to an stx outlet
The goalie shaft is around 180 grams. I don't have the weight for the outlet shaft.
Which is the better attackmen shaft
Carbon Pro 2.0-speed or Carbon LTX
What is the weight of the carbon 3.0 d-pole?
NVM, saw it answered previously. What would be a lighter option for a carbon d-pole?
The lighter option that we offer would be the carbon pro 3.0
How do you get the insert out?
Gavin,
shoot us an email and we can explain how to remove it
What’s the exact weight of the attack shaft?
The speed is roughly 149 grams
@@ECD what about the power?
Where is the instructions to remove the insert
What’s the weight of the d pole
Around 360 grams
Ion release date?
10/27
what head is the new ion most like
i am thinking of getting the mirage 2 graphene or waiting for the ion
The Mirage is the closest in our line, possibly the L3
In the future. A carbon d mid?
Good idea! I actually think the Power works really well for that. If not the Carbon Box line is a great option as well.
Hi guys!
Hey Jack!
Yo greg
YOU DIDN'T TELL US THE WEIGHT FOR THE POLES!!!!!!!!!
Can the D-pole be cut for smaller younger players?
Yes, However if you were to cut a pole down for a younger/smaller player we would go with our Carbon 3.0 over the pro model as the flex is specifically placed in this shaft.
@@ECD already bought the pro. What end would you cut? The handle end or the head end? I need to take about 6 inches off. Thanks for the help.
