Sorry if I missed this, but with this strategy, are you waiting on a candle close outside the band followed by an indecision candle, or a candle close outside the band and an indecision close outside the band? Thanks!
I use a similar reversal strategy on the 10 minute! I use bb with 2.5 ratio and look for a big candle to close outside the 2.5 band. The next lower low or higher high that closes inside the 2.5 band and shows big wicks along with rsi divergence, enter the trade. Similar but different!

"simple" and "effective" are the wrong adjectives to describe a trading strategy. we saw nothing about suitable markets, average number of trades per month, % wins, %losses, Profit factor, Sharpe ratio, % maximal drawdown, number fo consecutive wins and losses, etc etc. I tested this algorithmically and it is not profitable in the long term. it has profitable periods but overall not profitable.
@@fxsurgeon1I back tested this on multiple pairs, 40 trades each. I must have missed something because it had a win rate of around 40% on each. It did poorly when market was trending.

Love the strategy and the video! Do you think it would be as effective at a lower time frame such as 30min or 15min and go for smaller wins / movements?
I tried it on a 30m and it worked, hit my take profit in a little over an hour

1. Would you say this is a good strategy for complete beginner, or perhaps some of the others are better?
2. How can one back test this? Do you have any back test tutorials? I didn't see any
3. Can this be automated into a bot or best to go manually?
4. The copy trading subscription, is it automated, or can it be with Cornix, or is it only manual?
5. Is Forex Fury a bot you developed? And is there a place to view it's historical performance? Is it generally more profitable than the signals subscription?
6. Can forex fury pass and sustain a prop firm account mostly passively?
7. How successful can forex fury be if users want mostly automated/passive? Or does it need manual attention and adjusting?

Time frame is H1 as shown in video. Time of trades is shown in TradingView and Myfxbook, in the video as well. Much love

For a buy/sell, the indecision candle has to be GREEN for a BUY and RED for a SELL ? Or it can be any color as long as it's an indecision candle ?
An indecision candle represents equal strength between buys and sells, if the candle is a green indecision candle it means strength is almost equal but buys have a very slight advantage so the likelihood of a move to the upside is probably higher. In general tho indecision candles indicate a trend coming to its end, on smaller time frames they look like consolidation patterns.

Hello Pat, I am an Iraqi young man and my financial situation is not good, regardless of the living situation here. Please tell me whether this strategy is successful so that I can start it out of the nerve to lose money. Please respond to me and help me with all due respect.
I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

Yes, I believe so. I'm going to do another video on this, I found an indicator that shows the indecision candle making it even easier and faster. I'll be doing this video in a few weeks.

Please fix the copy trader, been a week and I read everything and even customer support can't fix it 😭
Everyone knows about that strategy, it's one of the basic ones every trader in becoming learns lmao. You don't use any volumes or momentum to confirm you're in the right direction, you don't wait to see in smaller time frames if an RMR is playing out or not, that's basically gambling every single trade :)
Nothing wrong with basic strategies. I don’t show every single thought on every trade, these are RUclips videos not full courses.
@@TradewithPat There is actually, high risk to get stop hunted most of the times. I know that it's not full courses, just saying those really basic strategies are mostly risky because everyone knows about it. And you know that at least 75%+ of retail traders lose money on the markets so...

You need to do a backtest with at least 500 orders to know if the strategy worth it or not.
Even a big loosing strategy in long term can work well during some periods..
Not backtesting a strategy is useless... but i guess you only want views right ? Lol
