Hindi ko pa na subukan sa rubber tree yung balatan mo lang tapos pabayaan at magkakaugat na sia. Pero nagawa ko na yung sa ficus concinna ko nag ugat sia. Baka pwedi rin ganun sa rubber tree kasi pareho sila ficus.

Ser ano ba ginagamit na taximan ng halaman mo?
Yung rubber tree ko minarkot ko, wala akong nilagay na kahit ano, nasa na cocopeat lang and transparent na plastik, after more than a week may ugat na siya, kaya pinutol kona at tinanim tas may tumubo nang 3 sanga yung mother plant😊

Sir Andrew ano po ang name ng liquid rooting hormone na gamit nyo?
air layering or marcotting ang tawag diyan. maraming medium ang pwedeng gamitin not only cocopeat. maraming easier, less messy way to do it. try using marcotting ball. pwede ring ice candy bag method na dry medium or water medium ang gamitin. platic bottles or platic cup pwede rin gamitin to hold the medium. pag lagay ng rooting powder dapat sa upper cut end lang kung saan lalabas ang roots hindi po duon sa buong pinagbalatan ng stem.

Sir Andrew 😢 alam mo my rubber plant i ordered on line last Dec 11 its 2 of them prince at ruby. Today lang Jan 11 dumating😞 bulok na yung plants basang basa. Pati yung soil basang basa. So i tried to salvaged whatever that can be save by repotting to well drained fluffy DIY potting mix. Did i do the right thing? Nasanay kase ako sa S&C na air dry. Now naka tanim sya sa soil pagka dating i did not air dry

Also, I use clear plastic. I am able to see if there is root formation without disturbing the plant.
