". You can add a few choice 4 letter words into that but you get the drift. Lady walks away. Not 5 mins later .. while i am now having a smoke , raging inside over yet another ignorant POS calling me a racist , ignorant of the amount of times i have risked my life , health and job by walking off licensed contracts to render mouth to mouth and first aid without protection to K.O. aboriginals in the middle of the road after one of them king hits another one ........ I also have plenty of progressive female friends who know of him but are not interested because they find him offensive. So actually you'll find that I do listen to other people's ideas (actual real people not the trash that's posted on the web and social media) and while they haven't caused me to unsubscribe because I still agree with the core of Jordans agenda, they have made me think a little bit more about the other things he says and how that might resonate with a potential audience. I'm not saying that there aren't a diverse range of people who watch and listen, but the comment section is a strong indication of who is engaged. I think there in lies a problem with friendlyjordies. I also have plenty of progressive female friends who know of him but are not interested because they find him offensive. So actually you'll find that I do listen to other people's ideas (actual real people not the trash that's posted on the web and social media) and while they haven't caused me to unsubscribe because I still agree with the core of Jordans agenda, they have made me think a little bit more about the other things he says and how that might resonate with a potential audience. I'm not saying that there aren't a diverse range of people who watch and listen, but the comment section is a strong indication of who is engaged.
It also doesn't take a genius to know that Jordans target audience is going to be predominantly gen Y and gen Z, and that unless you are poorly educated or have been living under a rock, you'll know that women from those generations and hopefully blokes out there as well are actually tuned in to the fact that body shaming isn't acceptable anymore, and since at least in this case it is directed at a woman it certainly doesn't help appeal to that wider audience, which really is the main goal of any media person. I stress "appeal" and "audience" for you Big Kev, because without those things, anyone trying to spread a message may as well just be yelling at a cloud.
So maybe before you comment next time actually do a bit of thinking of your own. I'll retract the word "white" from my previous comment if it helps you sleep at night, but your point really just emphasises how male-centric both the audience and the people he works with are, and if I was trying to spread my message I would want someone to ask the same question. I think there in lies a problem with friendlyjordies. His authenticity not to hide his personality and beliefs is his boon in the sense that I believe him when I am sceptical of others, but its also his biggest stumbling block to reaching wider audiences. I think using fat as an insult hurts women in particular because it is often used by both genders to invalidate, not an argument but, someone as a person. He's wrong to do it, but being a technically correct person is impossible and I believe he knows it so he doesn't even try to be... instead of trying to present a squeaky clean image he goes "your feelings are not as important as these issues im talking about" which i can't say he is wrong but shit, it fucking sucks be reminded that anything I say could be completely (and casually) disregarded or invalidated because I'm not the perfect image of my sex's beauty.

Originally consisting of 500 different clans, with their own distinctive beliefs. This is not something which is recognised by the commonwealth government. Until a treaty is made, organisations like the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council will try to mediate between clans and the commonwealth government. But ultimately, this leads to a little-by-little destruction of the natural landscape, destroying the culture which is intertwined within it. You often see similar councils approving mining projects etc, with little benefit or consult to the clan it is concerning. The lack of recognition of individual clans' legitimacy allows profiteering from external parties who have little (sometimes none) connection to the affected community.
Like, you clearly don't understand much about aboriginal cultures in Australia, and I can't blame you, i was taught the same bullshit in school. The difference between you and me is the amount of time spent in indigenous communities, connecting with them, eventually understanding the impossible situation people born into these communities are faced with. Something you could do to rectify your ignorance would be to speak to people in the communities themselves, look at the prices of basic necessities in supermarkets of remote communities, as the land they live on dries up, their rivers become lifeless and poisoned, and their culture is dismissed as superstition.
Look at some of the hard work done by organisations like Aboriginal Astronomy. It's a convenient narrative for colonisation that the Indigenous culture has no value by modern standards. However, this is simply not true. We are in a worldwide crisis trying to establish sustainable living, yet we are completely dismissing the culture which already achieved it.
That is what you're missing, that is what i was trying to talk to you about confidentially with Matt passing on my message. There are many ways to build a highway, not just two. The argument which you make in your videos suggest that this highway plan was the best option to save lives relies on the logic of a false dichotomy. Just as we wouldn't be able to build a freeway through captain cook's cottage, we shouldn't be able to do it to sacred trees.
Although, it's pretty clear that you are going to use your starpower to claim false victory, rather than actually meet a discussion challenging your understanding of an opinion you broadcast widely.
