The other wonderful thing about this sparkling gem is that she is still young, fresh and at the beginning of her stardom journey. If she plays her cards right she can book herself our for years to come as a guest artist the way some other wise ones have done after establishing their diva -hood and retire early if she wants to and have full pockets which most dance artists don't have by the time they are ready to be retired, injured or who knows what. By being a guest artist she can set her own performance schedule, and pace, reduce the chances of being overworked and getting injured and retire still pretty young and very pretty. Ask Ms. Sylvie Guillem. She did it right!
Thank you, @BunduBallerina, for this video, and for informing us where she went. It's a relief to see that she is safe. Also, I just noticed this, and it's quite trivial, but she has beautiful hands. She articulates them perfectly.
The l o v l e s t wrists and hand movements while performing,... Sooo outstanding like l've never seen before, even in the most beautiful port de bras.. ..May Nagahisa is a real dream , utterly exquisite, feminine, versatile and pure STAR QUALITY in every movement--❤️❤️❤️

I hope she will find another top-rank company to work with and mature a good repertoire, where she can grow as an artist. She's wonderful but very young and she needs a solid team to get to make the most of her potential. If she settles for guesting, I don't think it will be the same.

Concerto DSCH was beautiful. I watched it twice over and would love to see the whole performance. May is so fluid and light. As always Bundu Ballerina, thanks for your good work. While watching this it occurred to me that Russia post Soviet breakup greatly expanded its influence in ballet by offering promising students from other countries scholarships and positions to their best ballet schools and companies. May, Jacbo Tissi and David Matta Soares are prime examples of those who decided to stay in Russia to develop their careers. That was good for both Russian ballet and ballet in general by extending its history and traditions in the ballet world. The Ukraine war ended that. Russia may now be winning by just grinding down Ukraine resistance, a long held battle tactic of Russian generals. That victory will make Russia a pariah, ending the good it did for ballet for years to come, certainly for my lifetime. I hate brining politics into something I cherish, but that's the situation I think we are in now. Ballet is a small part of the world, really, incomparably small next to the suffering now happening because of Russia's war, but that is still a very sad if small outcome. Nobody wins.
