If you have location services turned on however, on either your iPhone or Android device, what you will find is that in the meta data or the details of the photo, it should generally provide you with GPS co-ordinates of where the photo was taken, which, if you punch into google maps, will bring it up, showing you the area allowing you to look at the road names and suburb to establish the location of your car crash to provide to the insurance and hire car companies respectively.
