Silky gnar, perfect feet and with an endless arsenal of tricks on all terrain, this part captures a world-class ripper at the top of his game. He might just be the perfect skateboarder. In respects to SOTY, I really wish Louie got it. This part may not have had the hugest handrail banger of all time, but the skateboarding in this video was the most fun to watch. Everyone knows skateboading media today is so over saturated with new parts coming out everyday we forget the parts the next day. I think in this part Louie took something skating has been missing and really was able to make something that felt classic. Hats off Lou!!!

We all knew Louie was good, but come on: that's a SOTY Part! Absolutely unique style, diversity and perfect song choice. I had goosebumps watching this. So epic!

Already voted for The Lopez. So smooth and stylish. He already proved he could do big rails on KOTR. His creativity is top notch.
Skating is so subjective and that makes it really unique. That being said i expect some hate here: I honestly don't care for Louie's skating. I respect his versatility, but i don't like his style or trick selection. Too many fs shuvs, wallrides and boardsliding on ledges, his style reminds me of Evan smith. Which is not the style i like. To me style is when it looks like its impossible for you to fall and your feet are always in the same spot on the board (during pop and landing). People like Tom Asta, Carlos Riberio, Kelly Hart etc. Evan/Louie land all over the board on their tricks it looks sketchy to me. I totally respect the hell out of his ability to skate everything. Also, put some proper skate shoes on nothing looks good in Converse all stars. Joslin/Tiago for SOTY.
Brad James I like joslin but Tiago style is hard to watch. Too heavy handed. So many good guys out there. I agree with Kelly and Shane.

idgaf, i was there at Southbank when he did it and that was a gnarly trick, especially with how many people were goin by. The banks there are absurdly steep and theres almost no run-up so to keep that speed is insane

So many greats in the running but this is easily the most versatile, enjoyable, and inspiring part I've seen all year. Louie has always been able to rip on any terrain but this part felt like a turning point in his career, which is crazy because he's always been evolving.
