Crystal Radio / Joule Thief / Loop Antenna / Variable Capacitor

I made a crystal radio following the guide from sci-toys.com/s... , I also am playing around with different configurations with joule thief and also loop antenna with a variable capacitor, my hopes are others who might watch may offer some insights or suggestions in ways I have improve or play with the configurations ,thanks
