I would go for 6600 because : 1. Price is lower in my country 2. Lesser power consumption 3. I will use it only for gaming 4. Higher FPS 5. I have a freesync monitor
but it is also good to consider that 2060S has RT, DLSS and NIS. besides that nvidia is much better in older games, emulators, besides the codec that helps in professional things.
The GTX 1660 super is still an okay Card for 1080p i would choose the RX 6600 the rtx 2060 super and the rx 6600 are almost the Same BUT the RX 6600 has lower Power consumption and its cheaper (this comment is 1 year old i dont know If u Upgraded already but still)
Conclusion : rx 6600 consumes less power than 2060s almost half . I notice that the games are a little shaper in rx6600 , temperature are same of both gpus , fps fluctuation is more in 2060 s , rx6600 gives stable performance , both gaves more or less same fps in games. I think you should rx6600 , save electricity

Set the Rx6600's Clock Settings to 2200/2700Mhz so you get some extra FPS, and the card is limited to 100W, give 20W extra power and get much better results!

I bought a second hand rx 6600 for $200 in turkey where it costs $315 brand new. Rtx 2060 super on the other hand costs the same right now. If i had to buy something right now i think i would go with 2060 super because it keeps better 1% in almost all games even with lower average fps. At same price point nvidia wins for me.

But don't see the FPS, see the power. 6600 is using just 100W to perform the same as 2060S which is using 180W at peak. 6660 will save your money on the long run. Two drawbacks with 6600 against 2060S: 1) Poor performance in Ray Tracing 2) DLSS not supported
I currently have an rx6600 but I might make the switch to a 2060S for a similar price, while hoping to get better or similar frame rates. I'm mainly looking for better performance with RT and cuda compatibility. I would definitely need to undervolt it to get figures closer to 130W (which is the total power that the 6600 actually draws).

It's mostly import tax and resellers overpricing. You're the one generalizing the price of the gpu based on some 3rd world country.

You should go for the RX 6600 because of less power consumption and more future proof. If you work with 3D modelling and gaming is not your main goal, go for the RTX 2060 Super, because the RX 6600 has no CUDA cores.

2060s has few less FPS,but better 1% LOWs,so that prevents stuttering. In this case 2060S s smoother in my opinion.
