@@MsRabblerouser same here. I had to go on a no buy last may because I was so bored during quarantine I was buying all kinds of stuff. It’s funny because I always thought a no buy would be impossible, but after the first few months it’s not that bad.
Am I the only one who's actually been doing MORE makeup during the pandemic? I feel like the fact that I'm not going out as often anymore has made me want to dress up more. I've been playing a lot with more bold crazy eye looks especially, since it's the only part of my face people can see.
Honestly, the pandemic made me realize I don't like the way foundation looks on my skin. I used to think I needed to wear it every day, but after months not wearing it I like the way my skin looks way better without it. I just use a bit of concealer and I'm good. It also helps I got better at skincare during this too lol.
glow recipe is being sooooo smart right now. I mean, I'm 20 and have loved every product of theirs I've tried, and now they've got me hooked early on and I'll likely be a lifelong customer, and I'm sure the same can be said for a lot of their customer base, especially if they keep bringing out products that are cute and innovative AND actually work
As someone who was not even born when Tetris was popular, even I thought the same thing when looking at that NYX palette. I really don't understand how that went over their heads.
I think that what's happening (besides brands being boring af) is like a sugar crash, but of makeup. They shoved so many products and releases the past years that our eyes, souls and wallets are exhausted 😴
Agree it’s not even just the constant releases it’s the over saturated market we saw so many new brands some relevant some flops and now we are sick of it all (especially with covid) which is building the new boom for the skincare markets! It’s interesting I predict the same will happen for that industry in the future
The pandemic reaaally effected my love and interest in makeup. I went on a year long no-buy except for my holy grails. I just got inspired again for like 2 weeks and now I’m over it again lol.
I have no interest in buying make up, but I'm having a great time just putting on make up for my own enjoyment at home and loving on the stuff I already own.
Yes me too! Every time I see a new launch I think "that's cute but I have something similar already" and I'll go pull that out and rock it while I homeschool my kids 😂
The NYX x Tetris collab is a total pass release 🤦🏽♀️ Where was the actual effort? Nowhere, basically. NYX has some of my holy grail products, but sometimes like in this case they are totally missing the mark
I think they work good for cosplay or people with alternative styles and I think this palette is aimed for those people, I wrote a longer comment about it in the comment section if you want to know more :)
Esthetician here! Fragrance definitely does not have any beneficial skincare properties, but unless you have any allergies or sensitivities, it’s not severely harmful. If you experience sensitive skin, try fragrance-free products. If not, the world is your oyster. Skincare should be healthy, but it should also be enjoyable, so do your research to make sure any skincare product fits your needs, and have fun!💖
Oh to be fair about the Patrick Ta launch, I love the blush duos but I also have very oily skin. The combination of powder and cream is the only thing that keeps my blush on all day and those compacts are just so very convenient. Obviously it all comes down to personal preference, but I’m actually thrilled to see this launch!
Just hang on . I know that sounds silly from a stranger from the internet but trust me it gets better , you just have to take everyday one breath at a time and know it will get better. And when all else fails remember even a drop taken from the ocean makes a difference.
I absolutely never knew about skincare at age 13. I think I used a soap bar on my face 😬😅 I also didn’t have TikTok or like, a phone... I feel you on certain things really getting your dollar. Avocado is like that for me, has been since my early 20’s, and I’m 31. My friend just sent my Christmas gift package (it’s not late cause of covid, we’re just procrastinators!) and it was a HUGE BOX full of Avocado themed things! Made my entire MONTH. Glow Recipe almost gets me every time. I want banana and papaya and avocado skincare, but I always talk myself out of it in favor of more basic but effective skincare. 🙃
In regards to Beauty Bakerie, the founder has talked often about her allergies and how everything from body care to food has affected her, and how hard it’s been for her to find things that work. I would be willing to bet her skincare will be fragrance and allergen free.
The Tetris palette could’ve been so good! I’m obsessed with Tetris and I would definitely buy it, I mean each shape has a set colour in the game so boom, there’s your shades right there, and each shape has the same area so they could’ve actually made the pans into the correct shapes and had them all have the same amount of product! Gah I’m so sad just thinking about how cute it could’ve looked
Same. my neighbor sold my mom Mary Kay for me when I was 11, but I had to go to the Dr for Retin A eventually. I tried noxzema/clean and clear/clearasil cleanser and stridex wipes! I hated skincare because it all burned and reminded me of my acne :( I tried so many acne topical meds, too. I got more interested at 18 but it was aspirin mask, Queen Helene mint julep mask. I got into acids and sunscreen and night cream around then, too once my acne was under control. now I love taking care of my skin with hydrating potions and masks.
I really like the idea of a cream and powder bronzer Duo but the lid has alternating hinges so you can open one side and then close the other to cover the cream when you're using powder
1. Red lip on you is glorious. 2. I go through phases of not giving a shit about makeup depending on what I have going on. We have nowhere to go and no cute outfits so whats the point 😪
I personally think that the Tetris palette could be more creative like with the layouts, having them in different orders and kind of make a “pattern” with it? Having the shapes in different directions etc. But I do think this palette is aimed towards people who likes to play with colours, people with more alternative styles and also the gaming world, like these eyeshadows would be great for different cosplays and using to contour and blend with certain body paint etc, as a cosplayer myself this is actually very convenient and a lot of people use eyeshadows both to save money instead of having like 100 of different body paints, and use these palettes for texture and highlight/shadows and so forth. Then again personally I’m usually disappointed by the nyx pigment when it comes to shadows so I do not tend to by them, but then again, works great for cosplay!
Also would like to add that, even if I agree that it would be nice with more nuances, and maybe have it like a bundle with the colour wheel, but as a cosplayer you can’t bring your whole makeup collection, personally I try to decrease packing, (esp if you’re like travelling with local traffic,) in Sweden for example, even if people have cars, it’s not the same as in America, you can go to a lot of places in the country without owning a car, so many travel locally, but it comes with some cons like not being able to bring as much to the convention)
I am glad that the intro music is back. ALSO, everytime I listen to Folklore, there are certain parts that just where I hear your renditions from your Folklore rating video.

As someone allergic to fragrance i really appreciate the 'anti scent' trend because there are so many more products I can use even compared to just a few years ago. Though i also desperately miss being able to use cute, scented products so I totally get it
The Ofra and Samantha palette is SOOO cute!! I can't wait to see what people do with that purply highlighter?? That's gonna look so pretty on deeper skintones.
I think a brand should release a concept like a banana palette and create a contest to allow the consumer to come up with the best one and that’s what the palette looks like and they win a free pallet or something like that
Beauty Creations just came out with colorful Eye bases, pencil eyeliner, and gel pot liners as well! I think you should definitely look at them and see if they can push away p.louise you know?

My friend just sent my Christmas gift package (it’s not late cause of covid, we’re just procrastinators!) and it was a HUGE BOX full of Avocado themed things! Made my entire MONTH. Glow Recipe almost gets me every time. I want banana and papaya and avocado skincare, but I always talk myself out of it in favor of more basic but effective skincare. 🙃
I love this channel so much. I don't wear make-up at all but i love hearing someone ramble about stuff they're excited about😂
In regards to Beauty Bakerie, the founder has talked often about her allergies and how everything from body care to food has affected her, and how hard it’s been for her to find things that work. I would be willing to bet her skincare will be fragrance and allergen free.
"I'm not an expert, I'm just a girl who spends too much money at sephora", GIRL SAME
“I’m not an expert, I’m just a girl who spends too much at Sephora”… we all felt that 😂
your idea for the tetris palette had me wanting it lmao, why do you and abby do that to me every time?? visionaries truly
Showing my age but, literally when I was younger my skin care was st Ives and witch hazel and going to the doctor for your acne. 😂
🤣🤣🤣legit
I cringe everytime I think about me scraping those apricot scrubs all over my face 😭 now I wouldn't even use it on my feet lol
Same. my neighbor sold my mom Mary Kay for me when I was 11, but I had to go to the Dr for Retin A eventually.
Hannah’s videos have me dropping everything
The Winky Lux tinted moisturizer is SO good as well!! ♥️♥️
Thanks, Hannah!
Love the fact that you're growing!!!
1. Red lip on you is glorious. 2. I go through phases of not giving a shit about makeup depending on what I have going on. We have nowhere to go and no cute outfits so whats the point 😪
Try the Danessa Myricks cream shadows as P Louise substitutions.
I just got my fenty skin tint in the mail today! Can't wait to try!
Omg 0:02 into the video and I audibly gasped at how good your makeup looks!
Was graced with a new Vlog from her and then a new main channel video too. YES!!
Also would like to add that, even if I agree that it would be nice with more nuances, and maybe have it like a bundle with the colour wheel, but as a cosplayer you can’t bring your whole makeup collection, personally I try to decrease packing, (esp if you’re like travelling with local traffic,) in Sweden for example, even if people have cars, it’s not the same as in America, you can go to a lot of places in the country without owning a car, so many travel locally, but it comes with some cons like not being able to bring as much to the convention)
me, a person who wears mascara once a month maybe and never any other makeup product: damn she's so right on the money with these opinions!
Yeah, give me glow was like "here's our version of the candyland palette 😌"
I want my ringtone to be "yass or pass"...lol and thank you for putting the music back in!!!

I am glad that the intro music is back. ALSO, everytime I listen to Folklore, there are certain parts that just where I hear your renditions from your Folklore rating video.
A vlog up and now a video on the main channel. You're spoiling us
Beauty Creations just came out with a full line of eyeshadow bases, pencil liners and gel/cream eyeliners, its really affordable and what Ive tried (mostly palettes) are really good quality.
RosyMcMichel made a video comparing those to P. Louis ones and the results are 👀
The lighting in this is *stunning*
omg yay a Smokey Glow video to help me calm down after schooooooooool😌🥰
An indie brand eyeshadow guide/rec video would be cool! + I'd love to see the mermaid palette on a talktorial video or something!!
That GiveMeGlow Pastel Dreams palette is what the ColorPop Candyland should have been! (I typed this out literally right before you said it!)
The Juvia’s place eye primer is AMAZING. I love it so much. So worth every penny

I’m waiting on the Rihanna skin tint, I can’t wait to try it. That’s all I’m interested in lately, skin tints, and concealers.
I got it yesterday and I love it
Okay between your Hannah Glow channel and this one- I’ve had soooo much Hannah content and I’m loving it. 🥺😍
I found you 3 days ago and I have no regrets!!! You are so wholesome and amazing and your content and just everything about your channel makes me feel so much better.
Thank you so much!
Dude I LOVE the Patrick ta cream and powder blush, the formula is so good. I AM SO EXCITED about the cream and powder bronzer !
As someone allergic to fragrance i really appreciate the 'anti scent' trend because there are so many more products I can use even compared to just a few years ago.
Though i also desperately miss being able to use cute, scented products so I totally get it
Just picked up the Midas Genesis palette, and that palette CAME TO PLAY. The shimmers are unreal. Easily my new fav.
I think you should definitely look at them and see if they can push away p.louise you know?
thank u for the intro music. there was an emptiness in my heart last time without it ❤️
I found Give Me Glow because of this channel and they very quickly jumped to the top of my favorite make up list. The Vintage Rose palette is amazing.
I REALLY want the phytosurgence cream blushes!!!! the colors and the packaging are PERFECTION!!!

I am in loveeeee with the Klarity Kosmetics palette!! I really love the Berry Royal palette too! I really hope to pick them up when they come back in stock, permitting that I convince myself to pay that much for shipping to the UK of course..
yesss would love it if you reviewed it!

The Beauty Bakery skin care line is so cute. And the So Mermaizing is SO pretty!!
