And I bet her hardcore fans would buy it. Plus she's always been about pushing boundaries and self expression so it would make sense to make more bold products
From the reviews I've seen, these are very unspecial and the packaging is like cheap plastic. I think the way the blushes r packaged are pretty but not $77 pretty.

I love that you always mention when brands are lacking for deeper complexions. This is why I just stick with Fenty because she is killing it with the color range and the quality is there.
I also think Beauty Bakerie and Juvia’s Place have quite good shade ranges and are good quality. It’s great that more brands are becoming more inclusive, but a shame that not all brands are. It’s 2021 and we should have come further than this. I love how Fenty started this trend of better shade ranges

I don't think MAC is going away anytime soon. It might not be talked about a lot on American YT, but people still buy from them🤷 What you see on YT isn't actually an indicator of popularity for older brands.

SG talks a lot about when make up became big on YT a few years ago('15/'16), but when I watched beauty gurus it was when Michelle Phan got huge showing those coastal scents pallets and shit and Mac was like, top tier. It's absolutely wild to me to see how badly they evolved as the beauty industry started to expand. Competition really does weed out the weak.

My Mom tried to start writing down her stories after she was diagnosed with brain cancer, but between nonstop treatments & it’s rapid progression... she had no energy or time. I will always cherish the times we just sat in her car or at her kitchen table talking... I like MAC because they are sold in SO many countries (over a hundred) and where I live just a few years ago it was the only actually legit makeup brand available (in a lot of places it still is!), we sometimes forget that things like Sephora/Ulta or drugstore makeup only exist in a few places if we take things into consideration

I’m really excited for the evolution of MAC video. I used to only wear MAC cosmetics. I think I stopped because they discontinued stuff I loved so quickly and/or I found products that worked the same or better for a lower price. The only thing I still buy from them is the Painterly and Layin Low paint pots, but I’ve been using the elf putty eye primers and they work just as well (and they’re $5, not $23).

I got my grandma Story worth for Christmas and it's fantastic, however I asked before getting it as a gift if it would be something she wanted to commit to. It can definitely feel like homework at some point, so for my own mother it wouldn't work but my grandma absolutely loves it. I found out that for her and my grandfather's first date they took a helicopter into Manhattan for $5 because they were both TWA employees!

Nothing compares to this scent). It’s the only thing I ever buy from them anymore. They’re having this insane sale where it’s something like $30 off orders of $60 or more... I was at Ulta and saw an eyeshadow palette (Tarte maybe?) that had all these different sized diamond shaped pans in it and my first thought was, Hannah would hate that. hahahahaha
I have the Kesha and spongebob collabs from hipdot and I can say that the collab collections and the regular collections do have slightly differnt formulas, in which the collabs have some fragrance in them. The quality is good though for most products in there line.

Hipdot has good quality, in my experience. They are a little pricey pricey though, but I can recommend them, I would compare there quality to some of the $65 pallets from Natasha denona or the huda pallets

SG talks a lot about when make up became big on YT a few years ago('15/'16), but when I watched beauty gurus it was when Michelle Phan got huge showing those coastal scents pallets and shit and Mac was like, top tier.
It's absolutely wild to me to see how badly they evolved as the beauty industry started to expand. Competition really does weed out the weak.

MAC is still hugely popular overseas, especially in Asian countries. Their classics still sell.

My Mom tried to start writing down her stories after she was diagnosed with brain cancer, but between nonstop treatments & it’s rapid progression... she had no energy or time. I will always cherish the times we just sat in her car or at her kitchen table talking... Between my siblings & I we all know different parts of her life story, but we’ll never know everything. 😔 Anyways sorry to be a downer, long story short talk to your mommas people! I like MAC because they are sold in SO many countries (over a hundred) and where I live just a few years ago it was the only actually legit makeup brand available (in a lot of places it still is!), we sometimes forget that things like Sephora/Ulta or drugstore makeup only exist in a few places if we take things into consideration
Of course that doesn’t cancel the fact that their launches can be a little confusing sometimes lol

I’m really excited for the evolution of MAC video. I used to only wear MAC cosmetics. I think I stopped because they discontinued stuff I loved so quickly and/or I found products that worked the same or better for a lower price. The only thing I still buy from them is the Painterly and Layin Low paint pots, but I’ve been using the elf putty eye primers and they work just as well (and they’re $5, not $23).

I got my grandma Story worth for Christmas and it's fantastic, however I asked before getting it as a gift if it would be something she wanted to commit to. It can definitely feel like homework at some point, so for my own mother it wouldn't work but my grandma absolutely loves it. I found out that for her and my grandfather's first date they took a helicopter into Manhattan for $5 because they were both TWA employees!

I LOVE that you mentioned MAC in this. I ordered from MAC yesterday because I was out of my all time fav perfume (Turquatic. Highly recommend if you want to smell like a sexy mermaid. Nothing compares to this scent). It’s the only thing I ever buy from them anymore. They’re having this insane sale where it’s something like $30 off orders of $60 or more... I have the Kesha and spongebob collabs from hipdot and I can say that the collab collections and the regular collections do have slightly differnt formulas, in which the collabs have some fragrance in them. The quality is good though for most products in there line.

@@tryagain9098 yes, I just find that the collabs have a lot of scent and I know that there promoting the fragrance in the collection, I’m getting the Reese’s collection along with the hello kitty collection on Monday. Hipdot has good quality, in my experience. They are a little pricey pricey though, but I can recommend them, I would compare there quality to some of the $65 pallets from Natasha denona or the huda pallets
