I did it a few days ago. It looks hard but it’s really simple and just takes time. Pause and do each step at a time and make sure you have time to do it. I tried taking it to a shop and they tried charging me 480$. No.
Excellent video, replaced my screen without issue other than its worth mentioning that the top and bottom black plastic keeper plates have tabs that need to be hooked under the frame, otherwise they won't sit flat.
A galaxy Note 10+ that had the display module replaced stopped working with the touch screen and only works with the Spen. What is the most common problem?
This is a good video, by replacing the complete screen with frame you might save some heartache. We did a DIY Star Wars. So replacing just the screen can turn bad if you damage what is called the digitizer.
Black screen could mean a few things. If you still hear sounds or feel vibrations it could be the lcd is damaged or something fried on the motherboard. If there’s no sound or vibrations when you plug it in, it could be a bad battery or charge port, it also could mean a short on the board as well.

Is there a way to remove the back glass without peeling off the paint where the tool was inserted? Noticed this issue last time my phone got repaired, the back glass was missing paint all around the perimeter of the phone. Also noticed in your video that some of the paint was scraped off on the back glass of the phone you were working on.
Unfortunately its not really something you can control. Maybe don’t heat it up too much, that may be a solution. But it still happens to me sometimes in these repairs.

Great vid. Thank you. My phone went half white screen, then black screen. Still powered up, but couldn't use the phone because the screen is dark. And no hard reset (volume and power buttons depressed simultaneously) worked. I've been told by the techies that the phone repair is over $300.00, but if I found another phone with screen working, it seems I'd be able to swap them out using your methodology in this video, correct? Or is there more to this than meets the eye?
Yes you’d absolutely be able to use the methodology of this video. Same exact idea. It would probably save you a pretty penny as well. Sorry for the late response. Good luck!
Hello, nice video, I have a question... if I need to replace my Galaxy note 10 plus N975U display, I can use any frame or I need a specific one? all mainboards fits on any frame? Thanks
You can try checking the area on the board where the speaker touches it, it may not be contacting properly with the motherboard. I would also try changing the ear speaker out as well. If that doesn’t work then you can try hard reset but I do not think that will solve the issue.
I honestly have never ever seen files get deleted unless something fries on the board. It’s always a good idea to back up your stuff just incase something goes wrong. But generally speaking, it shouldn’t affect the files on the device.
Well the part costs around $250 depending on quality. If you are planning on doing it at a repair shop, it will probably cost you around $350 depending on the rates the store charges. I’m confident you can do it yourself though :)
