I'm preparing to take my AZ-305 & been feeling weak on the data side even after going through the MS learn modules. I just couldn't understand how everything fitted together and the fact that I don't work with the data services often makes it even harder. As ever great review of the services, really helpful in prepping for the exam. Personally I still find the big data services a little confusing when it comes to which service to use. Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks and HD insights all seem to have overlaps. MS learn for example cover loading data into Synapse using Data Factory while Synapse has pipelines built-in so confusing why you would use two products rather than one. Maybe a big data guide to make sense of it all in the future ?!

this is a great video! thank you! This is actually one of the first main resources I've used in studying for the DP 900, but I actually think that's a good thing. Now, when I deep dive into any of these topics, I'll have a high level understanding of what they are before getting into the weeds.
John did it for me again! Got 928 with only the first three bars having mistakes. I just had all his coloured markers as a mental image for the exam questions when thinking about any concept such as OLTP or OLAP and what is involved. I really enjoy how John processes these concepts and his gym videos are just a serendipitous byproduct that compliments my weekly routine too as a junior QA. I'm only 25 years old near Toronto, but maybe I'll have a shot to be like John working at Microsoft one day. :p

Hi. This week I passed my DP-900 cert exam with 903/1000. I used online MSFT learning path (which was quite uneven in its quality) and an access to Azure account. This video was a nice distilled refresher right before going into the exam..Thanks heaps mate 🙂

Passed dp900. First I checked this Johns exellent approach on this issue, which after took one more wider content. Then I took Alan Rodrigues dp900 study on udemy that had more "hands on" approach :)
Very useful video. I've never used nor read anything related to Azure. Watched this video at 1.25x, which is the ideal speed for the voice, and just passed the certification exam with almost 900

Passed dp900. First I checked this Johns exellent approach on this issue, which after took one more wider content. Then I took Alan Rodrigues dp900 study on udemy that had more "hands on" approach :)

@@akh254 this is my dp 900 exam video :) I’m not going to list questions I was asked, that would be cheating. This video covers key things I think will help. I didn’t prepare for this exam, I just took it cold as I explain at the start and was based on years working with azure. Good luck
