Hi Rosie. I thought I’d just share with you I also got the air balloon for my little boys room, I put some fairy lights inside the balloon and now use it as a little night light for him. Looks so pretty! X x
Aww I bet it looks so cute! ❤️ I struggled to find fairy lights where the battery box fitted in the hole so I ended up buying the cork bottle stopper fairy lights that are in the pound shop and they fitted was really chuffed. It lets out the loveliest light doesn’t it! Xx

Hi Happy Rosie. You are doing great with your crafts.I enjoy decoupage, a couple of tips, to separate the layers stick a bit a sticky tape to the underneath layer and pull apart. Also to rip around the shape or pattern you want, outline it with a small wet paintbrush and it tears really easily, hope you may find that helpful. X

They are so cute aren’t they?! I saw some of the spoons on Etsy and I thought I had to try them out myself too. I’m gonna need to make one for each season 🤣 the Americans are great homemakers aren’t they and have such great autumn decor in the shops too ❤️
I saw someone a few years ago on youtube use colored shoe polish from the Dollar tree as a stain. I have never tried it myself, but when she did it for crafts, it looked nice. Just another cheap option

Hi Rosie, thoroughly enjoyed this video. I loved the Pumpkin chopping board, that was my fave, those chopping boards from The Pound Shop are brilliant and that is such an easy hack, I don't usually go in for all the Pumpkin decor but that one I think I may make., also the canvas, that really stood out when you 1st put it at the back by the utensil jar. The balloon for Albert's room is lovely, imagine how much you'd pay for something like that in John Lewis. Take care and have a fab week.

I think you’re missing the point a bit with these craft videos. The whole idea is that you create something using a cheap main item and then add things using your imagination which makes it more individual and to your personal taste and decor. As for the ribbons,glue,brushes etc, they aren’t wasted as they can be stored in a craft box for the next project. Above all, it’s fun and creative and gives one a sense of achievement!
A lot of us have built a craft stash over the years. Anytime you see items on offer or on sale, you might pick up some. Anytime you do a craft, you ALWAYS have leftover! I never throw things away that are past their best....just in case. If like myself you have children, then your cupboards are full of the items to turn into crafts. However if you're not into crafts then this video may not be for you. Personally I love having unique items that I know other people won't have been able to buy. I hate mass-produced items that hundreds of people have the same of. You will always find me a craft fairs buying home made items that people have lovingly spent hours making. Nothing better than someone asking me where I got my earrings from and I can tell them they are one of a kind.
Hey lovely I would agree but usually these crafts are made by crafters that have a little stash of these items. I used my makeup brushes due to them going in the bin as we’re getting sparse and leaving my foundation patchy so I thought I’d repurpose them. If you would like to make these crafts but literally for the £1 they cost you can use coffee to stain the wood ( I have shared this too previously but like to show different techniques each time) you can also crystallise a teaspoon of sugar to make the glue. As for ribbon you can also make this by cutting a strip from any old fabric ie; old top/ cloth and fray to make a rustic ribbon xxxx

it makes it easier to rip napkins if you use a dampened paint brush to outline the image you wish to use. Hope this helps :-) x

To make the paper napkin easier to tear round paint round the design with. Wet paintbrush and it rips a lot easier and you have more control of it xx

By the time you've bought all the glue, paint, stain,ribbon etc. And ruined 2 make-up brushes it's cost a lot ! Cheaper to buy them and less mess.
