This has to be one of the best 12 Bar Blues video's ever made. Thanks Tom. ( Complete Musician Graduate)
love it
That V7 tacked in the last measure makes me want to hear a V#9 there!
Wonderful lesson to take 12 bar blues to next level! Thanks LD.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love all your work Tom but us beginners need to see the virtual piano above to identify the notes.
@@cripzrus good point. But I will say from our research and development that this method is not a good way to learn as it create too much visual dependency on widgets - best to extract the simple concepts and work through the concepts on the actual piano rather than that level
of video dependency. Much better approach if progress is what you are looking for. So at this point we are leaving out the widgets just for that reason despite its popular appeal!
Brilliant lesson as usual. Thank you so much. 👍🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹
The "Bird Blues" chords reminded me of some of the complex chord structures that are found in many of Stevie Wonder's songs if I'm not mistaken? 😎👍 Song examples may include Isn't She Lovely and My Cherie Armour. Not bluesy songs per se but maybe Wonder was inspired by Charlie Parker amongst others? Just a hunch.
Yesss another video. Keep it tom ❤
Some good stuff in here 🔥🎶
Brilliant! Thx
well played dr!
Brilliant! Thanks 😘
You're so welcome!
wow, this lesson dig the old 12 bar out of the grave and make it alive again.
Hi Tom another great video thanks. Just to be clear, should the sustain pedal be used at all when playing the blues or keep foot well away from it? I've always been unsure in the grand scheme of things? Thanks.
You need to include W.C. Handy you talk about the 12 bar blues form. There's credible musical conversation on Earth where people talk about fugue and don't mention Bach. Likewise about this subject and W.C. Handy.
W.C Handy amen! ❤
Looks easy……in reality not so much. How are you building complexity in the right hand? Just struggle to see how that works and how people improvise over the left hand.
@ no it’s not easy. For playing hands together and building the rhythms this video addresses it, ruclips.net/video/rDOUVb629Bg/видео.htmlsi=KzQ5Xt_iPKzl39D0
THIS IS REALLY GREATEST, BUT ALSO SO STUPIDITY OF INTELIGENCE.!
