@@Jubagel41 it is a disappointment. It's really the only negative thing that I can say about the pack. The design of the packs is great. I love their water bladder as well. I am planning on doing a review of that soon. If you have any ideas for other videos or equipment/product reviews, let me know. Thanks, nice clear audio. I have the CDN Gregory Citro 24. I got it to replace my Gregory ISO (that I just loved,) that I had for years. It just fell apart.
It may be “me” but I find the waist/hip pockets sit too far back to be useful or easily accessible. On the other hand: they are far back to perhaps add a 3rd party hip belt (rei, zpacks, etc)
It’s not you. I have found the same thing. Usually use the hip pockets for things I want quickly such as my GoPro batteries. The mesh pockets are the same
I pack the same for a 3 mile hike as I do for a 20 mile hike, maybe a bit less water for a 3 mile hike. You never know if you will need to spend a night or two out on the trail if something goes awry
Can the water bottle mesh pockets on the outside hold a nalgene and or a 32oz hydroflask?
Great question. I have not tried. I don’t think it would as it won’t hold my 32oz canteen. I will check that out for you
The pockets will not hold a Nalgene
@@PaulsWanderings sad, thank you for checking for me! I really appreciate it

I wasn’t too happy when it would not fit my canteen so we will be sad together.
Thanks, that was very helpful in my research of the Citro 24
I am glad that you found it helpful
This has become my go to pack for my short hikes.

Can you put standard 15" laptop into the water pocket? I just don't want to have two backpacks for hikes and for the laptop
No. I can fit a 9" HP in it lengthwise. I don't see a 15" laptop fitting in it.
Thanks for watching and the question.
@@PaulsWanderings thanks!
hope you do not need a lot of gear for a 3 mile hike
