I've watched another of your videos which stated using Sony Xperia also on 4K...the video quality from the phone seems as good if not better than this video using Sony A7 camera ?!? What are your impressions ? It seems to me not much point to use camera to record when just a smartphone can seem to do it just as well & much cheaper to buy ?!

but there are more differences, original recordings are in a different video codec, and RUclips processes it in its own way. eg Sony a7 4K recording is done at 100Mbitpsec bitrate, RUclips can see the same recording at 40Mbitpsec bitrate, so obviously the image is different, more similar to that of Xperia, video recording at 35 Mbitpsec bitrate

@@losandre6944 From what i know of the video post processing software for compatible format with RUclips 4K videos, the video encoding bitrate available is 5000 to 50000 kbps under H264 whether resolution is 4096*2160 or (more common understood as 4K) 3840*2160.
Technically if the camera can do 100 Mbps the file size would be huge but quality of detail should be better ?
But if YT only 'sees it' at 40 Mbps only then i believe the quality would be lowered ? So if is not possible to post the full 100% quality to YT, then i suppose no advantage then to use devices higher than 40 Mbps with YT ?
I suspect the file format limitation of 4GB per file under FAT32 system in a smartphone limits the maximum possible bitrate to around 45000 kbps ? From my own experience trying to upload my 4K drive videos to YT (all still 'private beta' which i'll release for access under different channel name in future after i'm satisfied with quality issues etc.), i notice can go up to 40000 kbps where a 13 min 4K clip just make it under 4GB size...with audio encoding using AAC where i set to highest available of 256kbps bitrate. I'm experimenting with such high rates to see if that can bring out the most of the Nokia Ozo audio capability from my Nokia smartphones i use in my videos.

The limitation file is 200GB in RUclips , I Send over 20GB file , this is possible in xz2 p, if you use high bit rate, the image is clearly better quality, color saturation, contrast, more specifically, in 90% of video files I send raw files to RUclips server, you can send the original HEVC or XAVC S file for several years, this also applies to 8K transmission, which I sent on RUclips, the speed of min. 100 Mb / s.

@@losandre6944 You mean you sent 20GB in 1 file in XZ2P..so mean FAT32 not used, what format they can also use then ? In that phone what's the largest single file size it can handle natively ?
But you said Xperia the video recording is at 35Mbps ..so meaning say a 15min 4K clip occupy in under 4GB in 1 file, so limit not reached but if 20GB then 4GB per file limit exceeded that phone can still handle ??
200 GB limitation seems huge enough ok..i learnt something from you today..but the whole point of the entire exercise then goes back to the point that if your Sony A7 camera can do 100Mbps video encoding & you said youtube only 'sees' it at 40Mbps..so you're not getting the same (but worse ?) quality watching over youtube then no benefit to the viewers watching it from youtube, in which case using a smartphone like your Xperia would yield same end quality result in youtube ?
Regarding 8K (or 12k for that matter) transmission..what's the point when hard to find such monitor or TV to show it & so few people have it...the overall 'cost:benefit' appeal of going to that length to make such videos doesn't seem justified yet i'll conclude ?!?
Overall, back to my main thoughts here is : comparing the video here versus this video you taken with just smartphone ruclips.net/video/7xU2ifiQ4nQ/видео.html the smartphone video overall looks the same or even better, when viewing via youtube i have to conclude ? That smartphone video appears more natural colour saturation & temperature while the video here looks excessive blue tint dull & depressing...is it possible you provide a weblink (via dropbox etc.) to view the full 100% quality version of this video taken with the Sony A7 camera so that people can see the expected superior difference ?

codec on youtube is VP9 and you will not change it, if I give 100Mbitpsec then I play it on RUclips with 40Mbitpsec speed, if I play 35Mbitpsec it can be played in 4K Net speed 15Mbitpsec, so in proportion. FAT 32 for 4K video is you forget, NTFS format must be, I was not interested in how it is on XZ2P but certainly not FAT32, files reach over 20GB and last over 2 hours 4K h.265 codec, more I did not try, because the battery itself finished, otherwise it is in a7m3, there the file can not be bigger than 30min, and reaches over 20GB in size, of course 100Mbitpsec, 4K, XAVC S, SONY XZ2P is a practical small camera (with idiot casing and weight) with automatic focus, but if you want focus manually, set the telephoto lens, change the white balance parameters, ISO level, HDR etc., then you must have a good camera, not a smartphone,
