    As I mentioned in the video, you don’t need ALL of these worldbuilding elements to get a 10/10 on my ranking scale. If you do any one of these really well, then that’s good enough for me. As long as it feels IMMERSIVE in whatever category we explore, then it’ll rank well in my review.

    Does Red Rising count as a fantasy? Or do you lump sci-fi and fantasy into the same category?

      Valid question. I'm definitely more of a fantasy reader than a sci-fi person, but there are always exceptions. Like a complicated fantasy with an in-depth hard magic system sometimes feels more sci-fi, whereas a sci-fi that just treats its technology as everyday life almost feels like magic. So it can go both ways, imo.
