I combined every trick I could think of to move over 1,000,000 Minecraft Milk Buckets across the ocean in a SINGLE TRIP! This was only supposed to be 500,000 for a sub special but I wound up doubling it O_O; lol

You can get 127 items in a stack using armor stands so u could’ve done 127 milk buckets in the shulker box instead of 64

@@dtniland It's not an oversight. As you saw, he couldn't move the stack of milk buckets without them unstacking automatically, so the bundle allows him to move the stack of 64 buckets from inventory to chest.

fun fact: you can just use donkeys instead of llamas. i know, they're harder to find, but they ALWAYS have 15 chest slots. but they are hard to transport.

Why not put a chest minecart in the boat? Sure you'd need to /summon it, but you're already doing that for the armour stands.

All this reminds me of how dumb storage could be back in Tekkit Legends (warning, math ahead, tl;dr included at the bottom)
So with the Equivalent Exchange mod, you can convert items into energy (labeled EMC, so like dirt is worth 1 EMC, a wood log is worth 64 EMC, etc)
A Diamond is worth 8,192 EMC, and the block with the highest EMC value is the Dark Matter Pedestal with 2,564,096 EMC, or 313 diamonds in a single item. The best storage for a single item was from a different mod, called JABBA’s better barrels, and a single barrel with max upgrades could hold 8192 stacks of an item (one item type at a time), so you could store 8192x64, or 524,288 individual items in a single block. Then, you could lift those blocks using a dolly, allowing you to store all those blocks in a single inventory slot. Then you had the obsidian chest, a chest upgrade with 108 slots (compared to the 27/54 slots of a single/double chest), meaning 8192x64x108 individual items, or 56,623,104 individual DM Pedestals
At 2,564,096 EMC per pedestal, that comes out to 145,187,074,473,984 EMC (145.2 trillion), which is equal to 17,723,031,552 (17.7 billion) diamonds in a _single_ block
To fit the theme, that’d be equal to 174,294,207,051 (174.3 billion) milk buckets (each is worth 833 emc)
And hell, you might have been able to store dollied Barrels in other barrels, I’m not sure, but if you could the number would likely increase at least 4 times over
Tl;dr mods let you store 56.6 million items in a single inventory slot for some reason

Idea: What if you put a lot of chest with the milk on top of the ender chest, and connect them with hoppers?

In what way would the bundle help you here? First off, if you're going to put more than one milk bucket in a slot, then why stop at 64? Secondly, if you can have the milk in one slot, why put it in a bundle?
The bundle is specifically for storing _different_ items.
You may therefore only carry 18333 stacks of any item.
I think there are problems moving around illegal quantities of items so a bundle is more reliable.
yea i am kinda disappointed that this cheating is being presented as glitching the game (as nothing else in the video comes close to being a glitch so i presume that's what the title is in reference to). if you're going to spawn in a cheated bundle then you may as well just put 64 stacks of 64x milk buckets in the bundle, or even 127x milk buckets (the true max supported by "byte", the number data type used in the ItemStack object/class). then you could create stacks of 127x shulker boxes and so on... the decision to use cheated bundles was weird and arbitrary and i wish the video instead focused on something like the recently discovered Shadow Item Stack glitch or some other crazy thing that's probably been discovered by SciCraft
EDIT, to Exralixis: the point of OP's comment is that this weird/arbitrary decision to create an illegal item doesn't make sense in the first place, as it establishes a precedent that cheating is okay and so Mysticat could've just created a shulker box filled with chests filled with shulker boxes [...repeat for several more layers...] filled with milk buckets to carry a billion milk buckets or some stupid amount like that. it makes the challenge trivial and so thus should've been avoided. i think it was only done to bring the number in the title above one million which is kinda frustrating :(

this would have a volumetric carrying capacity 1.47x the largest container ship in the world.
assuming each bucket contains 1 cubic meter of milk (since 1 bucket can hold a cubic meter of water or lava), a stack of 64 alone exceeds the industry standard TEU (equivalent to one twenty foot cargo container, with an internal volume of about 33.2 cubic meters). the largest container ships in the world are the ever ace, act, aim, and alp, all tied at 23992 TEU, or 796534.4 cubic meters of milk (you could probably cram more milk on the ship by using 40ft containers and/or high cube containers). steve and his llamas meanwhile, carring 1173312 cubic meters of milk have a capacity of 35340.7 TEU. that's a lot of milk.

Should’ve filled an entire chest with shulkers, grabbed the nbt chest with control+middle click, put 27 stacks of those in a shulker and then not continued because it’s an infinite loop

to everyone who asked this question, “how many items can you carry?” the answer is: infinite.
Every chest can hold 1,728 items (at most), chests can be grabbed with NBT data of those 1,700+ items.
So put the 1,728 copies of that chest (NBT data) in the empty chest.
Then repeat over and over again, and boom!
You can carry an infinite amount of items, surprisingly including milk buckets!
Enough just to take 2 water buckets, and you will have all water of planet in the inventory :)
No, actually, there is a limit to the NBT data that a chest can store.
also side note: you could carry 1 more item by using /replaceitem or whatever the command was called

So, are we going to ignore the fact that we can place the glitched milk stacks in a bundle which we fill a shulker box with, and then fill a chest will all those shulker boxes, and then nbt copy the chests (alt middle clicking them in creative), and carrying a whole bunch of those in our inventory would be enough?
Then put these is bundles and repeat
nbt copying is not useable in survival.

Great tricks, one more thing you could do is to use item shadowing. Essentially it makes it possible to link your inventory to a chest. You can make a whole chest monster running into that one chest.
you don't need bundles if it's only one type of item, also if you dont use bundles you can use armor stand to get 127 milk buckets in one single inventory slot, which almost doubles the amout of milk you can carry
Idea, Take a a crap load of shulker chests, then! Take all those, keep one with full of milk buckets, next keep adding shulkers to each shulker with 1 free slot.

If you’re putting echests that doesn’t count because they’re the same inventory, no matter how many echests you have it’s the same amount of items
First he advertises his datapack that lets you craft bundles... but then he never crafts a single bundle, he spawns in the bundles with commands with the milk already in it... Secondly he tries to distract you from it by using commands to put it into a armor stand's hand when he might as well just being using a command to put the bundle into his own hand at this point... All These Unnecessary Steps Just To Distract You And Advertise His Datapack! D: but the mob of llamas do be cute though and i was entertained, thumbs up for the video, but no download for the datapack.
