The Median-Achaemenid Empire made alot of Inventions and Scientific Discoveries that Influenced the Science in China, Pakistan, India, Greece etc. During the Golden Age of Islam, there were many Kurds serving in he best Universities in Baghdad, Aleppo, Egypt, Khorasan/Afghanistan etc. Some of the best known are Ismail al Jazari, Abu Hanifa al Dinawari, Abulfeda, Al Shahrazuri and some others. Kurds also contributed greatly in Science of the Timurids, Safavids and during the Ottoman Empire many of the best Scientists werent Christians but Kurds.
Kurds particularly contributed during the Islamic Golden Age, being at the crossroads of the 2 major languages of Knowledge during the time, Kurds were bound to be the most scholarly, mastering both Persian and Arabic.
I congratulate koucher for his exceptional achievements. However, he gives us the impression the Kurds were caught in the middle during Iran-Iraq war. However, we should not forget it was Saddam Hussein who used chemical bombs against the Kurds, it was Saddam Hussein who invaded Iran. Yet Koucher remains neutral, it is not mathematical, it just does not add up!
