You have a cozy home that's all your own, and as a homeowner myself, that's a big thing to be grateful for. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the kitchen. :)
Hi Megan! Happy for another video and update. The wood burned logo you created is so cool! Nice job on that. The bathroom mirror would be lovely, I like the circular shape, color, and detail. I agree a leather couch would look cozy and warm, but totally get budget restrictions. Your idea to have a strip transition is great for aesthetic and safety. Probably wouldn’t be too difficult or expensive to add. I love the tin roof tile backsplash idea! I also agree with your brother’s suggestion. The fridge would be more efficient if the stove was relocated. Things are coming along nicely. Once your grandma gets going with renters, she can always slowly invest back in to upgrade bedding, couch, etc. Meadowbrook is really looking fabulous! 💚
The fridge doesn't allow full use of the burners, pot handles wouldn’t fit. So moving it is a good idea. The house has a nice cabin esthetic! The woodburning came out fantastic.
Good point! I've used the stove before in its current location. It's really not bad at all IMO but yes moving it would be an easier setup overall! Everyone wants to move it except my grandma, it seems. But sometimes she can be convinced, so I guess we'll see!
There’s a cabin in Colorado we frequent. It has beautiful leather couches and I think they’ve had them for at least 15 years. They are high quality and I would definitely recommend leather!
Thank you! I agree. I've been scouring the internet for secondhand leather couches for months and I think we're hopefully close to finding one. The problem is picking them up and transporting them quickly during winter and without a big truck. But hopefully this coming spring we can get it done 🤞🙌

Awesome video. Would 1,000% recommend the strip. That can turn into a liability issue ❤
Thanks!
Definitely put the stove away from the refrigerator!
