Hoping you feel much better soon! This is breath taking...as if I'm the one walking down that path! Only I'm not a carrot! LOL Truly I was amazed to see how you were going to pull that carrot trick off and you did it perfectly! I thank you for this lesson!
Hope you feel better soon. Wow that one is a beauty. Love the colors. The rich fall colors are beautiful. I am going to do this one for sure. Thanks very much
Hi Stephen, hope you feel better. I love oil paintings but i did found working with oils tend to gives me also headaces! so know i only paint in acrylis but missing the wonderful softness and colours of oils. I really do love your videos and cant wait to watch them. This is a very beautiful scenery and i think you are a great artist with wonderful talent and such a good teacher in the arts. THANK YOU and be be well.
I love the feel of this painting and intend to try it soon. Do you mix linseed oil with your odorless thinner (or whatever kind of thinner you use) and I think I asked you before, but I have cad yellow pale hue, Cad yellow, Indian Yellow, Yellow Ochre, but do not have Naples yellow, which do you suggest I try? Thank you in advance.
Hi linda. Yes i do add a little linseed oil into my thinners. It really helps move the paint around....70,30 mix linseed 30%. I would say yellow ochre with some white will be close to naples yellow..
Hi Stephen im sorry your not very well , hope you get better soon . Thankyou for this wonderful painting the glow is so natural it is marvalous how you captured this i love it alot . I followed you painting but i used acrylics it was fun and im rather pleased with it , as it was for my husband who likes the old artist Rolland Hilda who in his country scenes has a man just like the one in your picture and from a distance looks like my husband . At the moment we have one with a man and his dog it reminds me of us walking the dog .many years ago. I know this seems strange but i find the hardest thing to do is people , i know you do it like a carrott but i think i have the size wrong to the scale of the picture , but this one i am pleased to say went very well thanks to your expert teaching thankyou . Do you do classes on line for a yearly fee at all , love to know thankyou
