It's not just 5th octave. 4th octave also has obvious constriction. Not as bad as her 5th octave but it's present even on the A4s. 1:04 was very obvious
Honestly, I don't think its a good idea to make a vocal range video for Ailee every year. Its basically like showcasing VOCAL DECLINE every year... You can clearly see that most of comments from non-fans are negative about her currnet vocal status. It always ends up bringing her up on the table of vocal criticism.
I highly agree with your comment, and Fedsax98, your note selection is never good anyway. If you love Ailee, try to pick better notes, and leave out the bad notes. You're trying to make people believe Ailee's constriction starts from A4..
I love Ailee, but it became impossible to listen to her. Her tone is so unpleasant and whiny now. She always had problems with pushing and tension, but her mid belts were really good and I personally liked some of the upper belts. Now there's no quality.
I completely get what you mean! As a huge fan since 2012, I loved her middle belts and how open she sounded. I really wish she'd go back to her open singing as opposed to placing her voice in her nasal area and I'm not sure if she is doing that to preserve her voice or as a stylic approach either 😭. Still love some of her notes when they're open though!

I like F#5 than F5 G#3: supported but the quality is 😒 Headvoice is still strong point of her, but quite push to create resonance Her supported range in 2024: G#3-Eb5/E5-A5/Bb5 (decreased in comparison with her prime: G3-F5-B5)

I think she's been pushing and tense since the C#5 note. It's mostly constricted now, she's lost her consistency. It's currently G3/G#3-C#5/D5-Bb5/B5.
