I thought about doing this, as my FM viewfinder has a lot of little black specks on the inside, but nope! I guarantee I'd lose some of those screws, or worse, a spring. Great video, tho!
Hi, thanks for the video! I was wondering what you had in the syringe bottle, isopropyl alcohol or lighter fluid? Also, what did you use to glue the leatherette cover back on?
My D7100 have problem. Viewfinder display (all aspects, including data at bottom of screen) disappeared, The lights are on but very dim, almost invisible. Have tried several reset user settings, taken out battery, changed battery and pored over manual, but no display whatsoever. Is it possible that the socket flex cable doesn't fit properly? where is the viewfinder socket located. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
