Over the past year, Itachi Uchiha has easily been the most requested character for me to make a video about, and while I’m not typically in the business of making videos purely based on requests, Itachi was one of Naruto Shippuden’s most interesting and complex characters, so I’ve known for a while that I would eventually make a video featuring his story and character. I spent quite a bit of time on this edit as Itachi was in and talked about in over sixty episodes of the series, so I hope it was worth the wait!

As this will likely become one of my more popular videos over the few next days and weeks based on how much it’s been requested, I just wanted to reiterate a few things about my channel for those of you who might be new here:
1) *This isn't an anime-only channel.* Some of my edits will be based on anime series and films, but if I upload a video that’s based on an animated film or a live-action series and you wish it were an anime video instead, you don’t have to watch it-it’s as simple as that. Even my shorter videos take a good amount of time to edit (this video took a little over a month to make) and it's frustrating when I have to regularly delete comments explaining why “no one cares about this anyways”, especially from those of you who are publicly subscribed to me.
2) *I delete all comments complaining about the dubbed voices.* Unless an anime series/film has a particularly awful dub or no English version exists at the time, I will never use the subbed version as it just adds an extra layer of complexity in making these videos that I don’t have the time or energy to deal with.
That being said, I read nearly every single comment that’s left on my channel and I know many of you are, in fact, respectful of these things-there are definitely more than a few usernames that I recognize as ‘fans’ of my work and I thank the majority of you for being patient while I work and considerate when I do finally upload videos. Please enjoy this edit for Itachi Uchia and I hope you stick around for future edits as well!

Pain and Itachi indeed faced against each other in the final Shibnobi war, although in their animated forms. Had Itachi not intervened, Nagato nearly slaughtered Naruto and Eight-Tails at the same time. Boy oh boy, Itachi's battle tactics and presence of mind is unparalleled in Narutoverse. If you happen to see that episode, you would know.

If you look at his skills... It's fucked up that practically everyone in Boruto now outshines Itachi his skills. The nice thing about Naruto pre-time skip was that Naruto still needed to be protected from bigger threats by his seniors ( Kakashi, Jiraiya, Tsunade). Boruto is now just like Goku. Two OP characters and the rest are a bunch of Yamcha's.
