- A friend from America taught me this recipe! A true American apple pie that will melt in your mouth. This is an easy and very tasty apple pie recipe. You will love this apple pie from the first bite. Crispy dough and juicy apple filling. Amazing American Apple Pie recipe. Very few people cook American apple pie like this. ❗️Warning, I recommend using ingredients in grams as this is a more accurate and correct recipe! * Cup = 200ml
ingredients
🍰Dough:
375 grams of flour
1 tbsp salt
175 g (0.7 packs) butter
120 ml (8 tbsp) ice water
Divide in two and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
🍰Syrup:
45 grams of flour
110 g butter (0.5 packet) butter
40 g (2 tbsp) water
200 g (1 cup) sugar
🍰Filling:
6-7 Granny Smith apples
20 grams of cinnamon
1 egg
1 tbsp water
Baking pan 26 cm
Bake for 15 minutes at 220 degrees and another 45 minutes at 170 degrees
Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
