University of St.Gallen launches new bachelor’s programme on sustainability

The HSG will launch its new certificate programme “Integrative Sustainability Management” (SuM-HSG) in autumn 2024. In the Programme, bachelor’s students will receive extensive training in how to implement sustainability in organisations.
The SuM-HSG focuses on practical relevance: students spend time in nature and get to know real projects addressing local sustainable development. In the final phase of the programme, students will also collaborate with local businesses and organisations to help them solve problems on the ground for sustainability.

HSG lanciert neuen Bachelor-Studiengang zu Nachhaltigkeit
Die HSG lanciert im Herbst 2024 ihr neues Zertifikatsprogramm "Integrative Sustainability Management" (SuM-HSG). Im Rahmen des Programms werden Bachelor-Studierende umfassend darin geschult, wie sie Nachhaltigkeit in Organisationen umsetzen können.
Im Mittelpunkt des SuM-HSG steht der Praxisbezug: Die Studierenden verbringen Zeit in der Natur und lernen reale Projekte zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung vor Ort kennen. In der letzten Phase des Programms werden die Studierenden auch mit lokalen Unternehmen und Organisationen zusammenarbeiten, um sie bei der Lösung von Nachhaltigkeitsproblemen vor Ort zu unterstützen.
