While watching this lesson as with others Erich I realized,.I have become so much boulder with strumming and playing techniques. Your style really comes across in this song. I actually can hear THE MUSIC out of my guitar if that makes sense. I hope it does. I think it is the beginning of becoming a guitar player for me and the awakening to something new. That is what I'd been searching for. Thank YOU!

I just bought an acoustic guitar because of this video, which sounds sick. My guitar is quite deep, which at first I thought sounded trash, but it's pretty good. I'll definitely be coming back to this video when I've learnt enough.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time, and your demonstration and breakdown of the links are spot on. One of the best tutorials, ever! I really appreciate the job you did on this. I now will have to get your book...that's the least I can do to thank you! This made a tremendous difference in trying to play this song as accurate as possible. New subscriber.

Hooray. A teacher who doesnt use that up, down up crap. There is no substitute for playing along. And well done for telling people to do it in steps. Ive been playing a while, and that thing about strumming patterns would have put me off.If youtube had existed when I started playing! By the way- what underwear do you wear?

Nice, Reggie Young's finger picking part is much more easily played in open G. Nice blend between the key of G on a guitar tuned to pitch and the finger picked part on the open G tuned guitar. Certainly, the song sounds great and can be played either way by a solo guitarist. Nice job....1

You totally did not go over the strumming pattern. You mentioned several times that you would, but didna. It's all good. Besides that one issue, you seem like a good teacher so I will totally be checking out your other vids.
