Years ago, a neighbor of my late father in Oregon told a story about a "man" who was
like your Uncle Ong. According to him, when Mount Saint Helen erupted in 1980, the
neighbor met the cryptid when "he" was recruited by the US military to act as an
intermediator as the military secretly dealt with the sasquatch community that
were adversely affected by the eruption. I believe your story. Please make a point to
teach others what you learned before you pass on.

I've been aware of the"hunters gaze" since leaving the military 🎖️. An awareness of being scrutinized or looked at. Really a vague unsettling sensation.
In traffic 🚦 4 lanes slowed to a stop one driver caught my attention nice long blond hair. Within seconds the head turned and regarded me with a peaceful grin. Same as that sketch, both eyes light sierra brown and a little pensive. So I gave a small nod, still uncertain thinking yep that's unique and said cool. Both windows were down and his (wide shoulders guess) smile 😁 was one of a kind I'd never seen the likes of. Driving slowly past as traffic compacted against the light. I felt a hunters gaze without the unsettling twinge. Glancing at the mirror he seemed to chuckle inthe little peice of glass. The light changed for the turning lane and as the little blue car left the intersection his hand raised above the cab and waived farewell. I was elated and momentarily considered pursuing then thought it would be intrusive and demeaning. Truly . I sensed a good generous soul capable of enriching my life with a 2 minute contact acceptance of others and the wonder of life. What a precious childhood you must of had. Wave at Uncle Ong's brother for me. Thank you so much.

Oral history is learned with the supervision of someone who also learned it. Usually, an explanation of intent or meaning goes with the instruction. Written histories may seem exact, but are open to interpretation of the words. The meaning of words can change over time. Oral history is in danger dying when the last person who knows it dies. So there are dangers and advantages to both methods.

A DNA test would be the only way to tell for sure. I did see video of a man in China who was alleged to be the offspring of a Sasquatch father and human mother. There also are those mixed who walk among us, if you believe the stories. I have seen them many times, but usually only for a few seconds. So, I have a tendency to believe. They come in all kinds of shapes and colors. I’m wondering if Ong had any metaphysical powers? I’ve experienced high strangeness, at times, when they’re around. Also, they are telepathic.
