- I made this cover because I found no guitar cover of this song on RUclips. It's from the Long Live Rock 'n' Roll album with a nice slide guitar solo. I added some drums and bass to the track. I hope that this video will inspire and help you to learn this song.

One of Blackmore's coolest riffs, in a spectacular song. Everything was perfect : Cozy's beat, Daisley's bass ( or did Blacker's play it ? ) minimal keys, I guess.... Dio's vocal was mint & Ritchie's performance was sublime. A truly underrated gem.

Thanks for this - was having a little trouble getting the intro part. Huge Blackmore fan - have always loved his honesty...like when he admitted to 'stealing' a riff...well, I think he 'borrowed' the intro riff here from himself to make 'One Man's Meat' - a track off the Deep Purple album 'The Battle Rages On'...lmk if you agree 🤔

Thank you Richie, I don't know how Blackmore play's the riff, but I hope that my playing sound's very close to him. The guitar is a Blackmore signature Strat. A lovely guitar but it is difficult to play it in tune.
I play the riff the same way you do ... I think he really plays it with open strings, otherwise it wouldn`t sound like that.
